TMREIS Web Portal, Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS), Hyderabad The society is to provide high-quality education for talented children belongs to minorities’ communities, through a pace-setting residential school at http://tmreis.telangana.gov.in. TMREIS will be set up as an autonomous organization to establish and manage these residential schools.
It is envisioned that there would be one school in each constituency of the state. It comes to 201 schools in the state. 201 residential schools (100 BOYS and 101 GIRLS) will be established in the first phase. Remaining schools will be established in the second phase.
The TMREIS has been established by the Govt. of Telangana, Vide G.O.Ms.No.02, Minorities Welfare (Estt.1) Dept; Dt. 10.02.2016 of the Govt. of Telangana. The admissions will be open to all the communities and the seats will be allotted as per the reservation norms of the TMREIS.

The Govt. of Telangana has sanctioned (70) Residential Schools for the minority communities of the Telangana state, Vide GO Ms No. 02, Minorities Welfare (Estt.1) Dept; Dt. 10.02.2016 of the Govt. of Telangana. One additional schools was sanctioned to make the total 71 Telangana Minorities Residential Schools. These Residential Schools will be functioning under the management of Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society (TMREIS) with Headquarters at Hyderabad. The no. of TMR Schools & the places of their establishment are as stated in the Annexure-I.

It comes to 120 schools in the state. 71 residential schools (39 BOYS and 32 GIRLS) will be established in the first phase. Remaining schools will be established in the second phase.
Deputy Chief Minister Mohd Mahmood Ali has launched ‘online registration’ for admission to 71 schools being started by Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society across the State from this academic year 2016-2017. The State Government is committed to the welfare of the minorities in the State. “Considering the backwardness of the community, the government is starting the schools and would be spending around Rs. 80,000 on a student per year.
The schools are being started in all districts of the State. In the initial phase, 71 schools are being started and an equal number will be set up soon. Of the 71 schools, 35 schools are exclusively for girl students. The govt assures full security to girls. Most of the staff and teachers will be women.
TMREIS Vision: The society aims to provide high quality and free education to the children of most economically backward minorities communities of the state of Telangana, to enable them to avail professional educational courses and jobs in the government and public and private sectors but also to have access to the best opportunities in education at par with other communities
TMREIS Mission:
1. To provide a dynamic educational environment that helps children face the demands and challenges of a competitive world.
2. Comprehensive physical, mental and socially relevant development of all students enrolled in each and every residential school, in their homes, in their village and finally in a larger context.
3. Focus differentially on the educational support to be made available to those standards XI and XII and those in standards VI to X, so that their distinctive needs can be met.
4. Support the annual expenses in a manner that offers reasonable remuneration to the staff and upkeep of the facilities.
5. Support the construction of infrastructure that provides education, physical, environmental and cultural needs of student life
