It is mandatory for candidates to carry their hall ticket, along with a valid photo ID proof such as a voter ID card, PAN card, or passport, to the examination center.

Candidates who fail to produce their hall ticket and valid photo ID proof will not be allowed to enter the examination center.

In addition to the hall ticket, candidates must also bring their own stationery such as pen, pencil, and eraser to the examination center.

Electronic devices such as mobile phones, laptops, and calculators are not allowed inside the examination hall.

How to download the TS SET Hall ticket 2023?

Osmania University has released Telangana State Eligibility Test, TS SET Admit Card 2023 on its official website.

Candidates who will appear for the examination can download the admit card from the official site of TS SET at telanganaset.org. The official notification was released in March.

  1. Candidates need to visit the official portal of the TS SET exam, telanganaset.org in your device web browser.
  2. Once you reach the official website, you will find the link for TS SET hall ticket, click on it on the homepage.
  3. After clicking on that link, it will redirect to a new page where you need to enter your application number, password, security key and click on submit button.
  4. After clicking on the submit button, your hall ticket will be displayed on the screen. Download your TS SET admit card and take a print out of the same for further use.

As per the Telangana SET exam schedule, state eligibility test will be conducted on March 13, 14, 15. 2023. The TS SET will be held in two shifts – the first shift will begin from 9.00 AM to 12 noon and the second shift start from 2.00 pm and concludes at 5.00 pm.

TS SET Exam pattern: The Test will consist of two papers. Both the papers will consist of only objective type questions and will be held in 3 Hours of duration in one session as under: Paper I 100 Marks 50 questions all are compulsory AND Paper II 200 Marks 100 questions all are compulsory.

Session II Timings: 02:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Subjects: 03 Commerce; 09 Life Sciences; 10 Journalism and Mass Communication; 11 Management; 13 History; 14 Law; 27 Social Work
17 Physical Education; 26 Sanskrit

Day 2 : Session I Timings: 09:00 AM to 12 Noon. 07 English; 19 Political Science; 22 Sociology; 01 Geography; 16 Physical Sciences; 18 Philosophy.

Session II – Timings: 02:00 PM to 5:00 PM. 02 Chemical Sciences; 04 Computer Science & Applications; 06 Education; 20 Psychology; 21 Public Administration; 24 Urdu; 12 Hindi; 28 Environmental Sciences; 29 Linguistics.

The Admit card must be presented for verification along with with at least one original (no photocopy or scanned copy) valid identification card (for Example Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhaar-UID, Government Employer ID and Driving License). 

The TS SET examination will be conducted in General Studies and 29 subjects in CBT mode in 10 centers spread over across the State.

The examination will be conducted to fill Assistant Professor and Lecturer in the state. Candidates can check for more information from the official site of TS SET.  

Telangana SET Admit Card instructions

TS SET will be conducted in CBT Mode. The Admit card must be presented for verification along with at least one original (no photocopy or scanned copy) valid identification card (for Example: Passport, PAN Card, Voter ID, Aadhaar-UID, Government Employer ID and Driving License)

The candidates who do not have clear photographs on the hall ticket will have to bring two passport size photographs for appearing in the Test with an undertaking.

Candidates will be subjected to frisking to ensure that you are not carrying any electronic or any other gadgets, mobile/cellular phone, tablets, pen drives, Bluetooth devices, watch, calculator, log tables, wallet, purse, notes, charts, loose sheets or recording instruments strapped on your body or in your pockets.

There may not be a guaranteed security facility for safe-keeping of your valuable devices or personal belongings outside the examination hall. The check-in procedure inside the test hall includes capturing your photo and left thumb impression.

This is a security feature which will verify your identity and also to check impersonation by any candidate. Therefore, they are advised not to apply any external matters like Mehandi, Ink etc. on their Hands/ Foot.

Candidates are allowed inside the test centre from 7:30 AM onwards (for the forenoon session) and from 12:30 PM onwards (for the afternoon session) for biometric verification.

The test centre gate will be closed at 8:45 AM (for the forenoon session) and at 1:45 PM (for the afternoon session). No candidate will be allowed to enter the test center after closing the date..

Candidates can login and start reading the necessary instructions 10 minutes before the start of the examination. Candidates are prohibited from communicating, consulting or conversing with other candidates in the Examination hall or causing disturbance in any manner whatsoever.

Candidates are prohibited to borrow any item from other candidates in the Exam-Hall. In case of any disturbance, such candidates would be disqualified. Candidates will not be permitted to leave the examination hall before the end of the examination.

Candidate should ONLY carry his/her hall ticket and valid identification card(s) inside the test centre and any other belongings will not be strictly allowed inside the test centre.

Mock Tests are provided to help candidates practice CBT much before the actual examination. Please inform the invigilator in case of any technical issues during the Examination.
