The school education department has focused on conducting the Teacher Eligibility Test (TSTET) in the state of Telangana. Officials feel that the TET needs to be conducted in the light of the fact that the process of recruitment of teachers will start soon. SCERT officials have started the exercise on formulating rules, syllabus and exam pattern of questions as per the guidelines of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) regarding the examination.
Applications are expected to be received online and the test will also be conducted online. Nearly three and a half lakh candidates who have completed BED, DED and Language Pandit courses will benefit from TET management. TET was held in 2017. Only 45,000 of them qualified. TS TET News:
TS TET 2021 to be conducted through Online mode this year. Official notification to be out soon and TS TET Exam to be conducted as per the notified schedule for B.Ed and D.Ed course completed candidates.
The T Government expects that the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) must be conducted before issuing a notification for the recruitment of new teachers. It seems to have basically come to the conclusion that it cannot proceed without conduct of TET.
There was pressure from the candidates those who have passed BED and DED to conduct TET to increase the score. It is hoped that legal issues will also arise if it is not held. It is noteworthy that the TET is also conducted before giving the notification of the last Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT).
To write a TRT, you must pass the TET. Marks in TET have a weightage of 20% in TRT. Ranks are assigned after that. That is why candidates who have passed once will write again for higher marks.
The last time the TET was held was on July 23, 2017 after the emergence of the state. It is estimated that about three and a half to four lakh BED and DED graduates are likely to attend the latest test.
This time the TET is likely to be conducted online. Proposals were sent to the government when Kishan was the school education commissioner to conduct the TET online (computer based test-CBT). Governments are also of the opinion that the online approach is better than the paper-pen approach in the current scenario.
The score of those two TETs remained. TET was held four times in the joint state and twice after the emergence of Telangana state. The deadline for a three-TET score in the Unified state was already seven years.
The last TET held in March 2014 will also expire in March next year. The first test was held in Telangana in May 2016 and the last time on July 23, 2017. This means that those who pass the examinations conducted after the emergence of the T state will be eligible for the TRT conducted for teacher Posts. That is why the test will be held again.
