GO.88 14.5% HRA Admissible to Kodad Town, Government of Telangana, Finance Department-Allowances – House Rent Allowance- Revision of Pay Scales, 2015 – Inclusion of Kodad  Town  under  the  category  of  House Rent  Allowance admissible at 14.5% – Orders- Issued.

ORDER:
Based on the recommendations of Eighth and Ninth Pay Revision Commissions, orders were issued in the Government orders first and second read above, sanctioning House  Rent  Allowance  applicable  to various  cities  and  towns  in the State  for  the purpose  of  admissibility  of House  Rent  Allowance  and  the  rates  of allowance  as specified therein.

In the G.O. third read above, orders were issued that the House Rent Allowance is enhanced to 14.5% at places where House Rent Allowance is admissible at 12.5% and to 12% in respect of places where House Rent Allowance is admissible at 10%. GO.88 14.5% HRA Admissible to Kodad Town

  1. In the Government order fourth read above, orders were issued implementing Revised Pay Scales, 2015 based on the recommendations of the Tenth Pay Revision Commission, to the State Government Employees. In the G.O. fifth read above, orders were issued on House Rent Allowance as per the recommendations of the Tenth Pay Revision Commission.
  2. In the references sixth  to eighth  read  above,  it is  brought  to the notice  of Government that employees working in Kodad Town (Nalgonda district) were drawing House Rent Allowance admissible at 14.5% already and requested to include the name of Kodad Town in the G.O. fifth read above, since the town was included in the reports of PRC,2005  and  PRC,  2010  also  under  the  category  of  House  Rent Allowance admissible at 12.5%,which was later enhanced to 14.5%.
  3. Government observe that Kodad Town (Nalgonda district) is classified under the  category  of  House  Rent  Allowance admissible  at  12.5%  in the  G.Os.  first  and second  read  above  and  under  the  category  of House  Rent  Allowance admissible at 14.5% in the G.O. third read above. The town, however, was omitted in the report of the Tenth Pay Revision Commission, even though the population of the town exceeded fifty thousand.
  4. Government,  after  careful  consideration,  hereby  order  that  the Kodad  town (Nalgonda district) shall be included as Sl.No.28 in the category of Cities and Towns for which House Rent Allowance is admissible at 14.5% in the G.O. fifth read above.
  5. All other conditions issued in the G.O. fifth read above shall apply.
