Telangana Public Service Commission has released TGPSC Horticulture Officer Recruitment 2025 or TGPSC HO Recruitment 2025 notification on its official website.
Eligible candidates can check the details and submit the online application at the official website of TSPSC, tspsc.gov.in.
TGPSC has given the Horticulture Officers recruitment notification, and applications are invited Online from qualified candidates through the proforma Application to be made available on the Commission’s WEBSITE (www.tspsc.gov.in) to the post of Horticulture Officer under the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation.
Educational Qualifications: Must possess a Degree in Horticulture of a recognized University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission. Provided that M.Sc. (Agriculture) with a specialization in Horticulture would be considered for appointment if candidates having a degree in Horticulture are not available.
Provided that in case of SC/ST vacancies if the candidates with B.Sc. Degree qualifications in Horticulture are not available, the candidates with B.Sc. Degree qualifications in Agriculture shall become eligible.

Age Limit: Candidates age should have a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 44* years. The age is reckoned as on July 1st.
Recruitment Fee(280/-): (Remittance of Fee) Each applicant must pay Rs. 200/- (RUPEES TWO HUNDRED ONLY) towards Online Application Processing Fee. Apart from this, the applicants have to pay RS. 80/- (RUPEES EIGHTY ONLY) towards Examination Fee.
However, the following category of candidates is exempted from payment of Examination fee. a) BC, SC & ST of Telangana State. b) Unemployed applicants in the age group of 18 to 44 years of Telangana State (They have to submit declaration at an appropriate time to the Commission that they are unemployed).
c) PH & Ex-servicemen. N.B.: BC’s, SC’s and ST’s belonging to other states are not exempted from payment of Application processing Fee and Examination Fee and they are not entitled to any kind of reservation.
b) Mode of Payment of Fee: The Fee mentioned at Para-I(6)(a) is to be paid online through SBI ePay duly following online instructions once the application form details are submitted by filling TGPSC ID, date of birth and other particulars.
The fee once remitted, shall not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances. Failure to pay the examination fee, application fee, wherever applicable will entail total rejection of the application. The list of Banks providing service for the purpose of online remittance of fee is given in ANNEXURE – II.
Selection Process: i) Examination (Objective Type) by Online / OMR based (300 Marks) and ii) Personality assessment test (Interview) (only for those qualified as per Rules). (50 Marks)

TGPSC Horticulture Officers Results, Interview Dates / Oral Test dates : Provisional List for Oral Test(Interview): The Interviews (oral test) for the above post will be conducted on in the Commission’s Office at Prathibha Bhavan, Nampally, Hyderabad. On the basis of the CBRT Examination held on FN & A.N and verification of certificates held on to the posts of Horticulture Officer in Agriculture and Co-operation (Horti) Department, the candidates with the following Register Numbers have been provisionally admitted for the ORAL TEST (Interview).
The candidates who have qualified for Oral Test (Interview) are required to attend at TGPSC Office along with Hall Ticket, Original Certificates, and two (2) passport photos on the relevant date and time as mentioned in the following schedule.
If on further verification, it is found that any candidate is not eligible with reference to the particulars furnished by him/her in the Application Form / Check List / Certificates, the results of such candidate/ candidates shall be canceled at any stage of the selection process.
TGPSC Horticulture Officers Results, Certificates Verification dates 2018: The Commission published the List of Registered Numbers of provisionally admitted candidates for Verification of Certificates for the above post on the basis of CBRT Examination held on FN&AN.

On the basis of the CBRT Examination held on FN & AN to the posts of Horticulture Officers in the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, the candidates with the following Register Numbers have been provisionally admitted in the ratio 1:3 for the verification of Certificates. After verification of original certificates, a provisional list of eligible candidates for interview (Oral Test) in terms and conditions of the above notification will be announced separately.
The candidates who are shortlisted for verification of Certificates are required to produce the Original Certificates along with one set of Photostat copies duly attested by Gazetted Officer, relating to Age, Qualifications, Community (Integrated), latest Creamy Layer exemption certificate in case of B.Cs as per Memo No. 3009/BCW/OP/2009,
Government of Telangana, Backward Classes Welfare (OP) Department, Dt: (prescribed format hosted on website), Certificates relating to claim of age relaxation, Study (from 4th class to 10th class) and if any, at the time of verification of documents, failing which they will not be admitted in subsequent process of selection.
