TGRDC CET (TS RDC CET) entrance exam will be conducted every year for admission into Degree first year courses in MJPTGBCW, TGSW and TGTW Degree Colleges.

TGRDC CET 2025 is a Common Entrance Test for Admission into Degree first year in
Telangana BC, SC and ST Gurukul Degree Colleges for the Academic Year 2025-25.
TS Gurukul RDC CET 2025
TS Gurukul RDC CET is Common Entrance Test for Admission into Degree 1st Year in Mahatma Jyothiba Phule Telangana Backward Classes Welfare (MJPTGBCW), Telangana Social Welfare (TGSW) and Telangana Tribal Welfare (TGTW) Residential Degree Colleges.
TGRDC CET Eligibility Criteria
Students appearing for Senior Intermediate Public Examination in March 2025 conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education of Telangana or equivalent examination are ONLY eligible to appear for the test, subject to the other conditions.
For admission, the students should have passed the qualifying examination in the first attempt in the academic year and secure 50% of marks on aggregate and 40% of marks in English subject. (There is a relaxation of 5% in case of SC/ST students).
Annual Income of the Parents/Guardian shall not exceed Rs.1,50,000/- in Rural areas and Rs.2,00,000/- in Urban Areas. Latest Income certificate issued by MRO/Tahsildar should be submitted at the time of joining.
The candidates who are residents of Telangana and have studied in any of the educational institutions located in any district of Telangana State are eligible.
Private candidates should submit a Nativity Certificate obtained from the MRO/ Tahasildar. A Residence Certificate will not be accepted. The candidates must have appeared Intermediate or its equivalent exam in March 2025

TGRDC CET Exam Details
- The duration of TGRDC CET 2025 is 2 ½ hours.
- Entrance Test will be conducted for 150 marks in total.
- There will be no negative marks for wrong answers.
- The correct answer should be shaded fully and thickly in OMR sheet.
Entrance Test will be conducted based on Intermediate syllabus (Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana, Hyderabad).
Questions will be in both English and Telugu, and all will be Objective-type, Multiple-choice Questions. Answers should be encircled on OMR answer sheet.
There will be three optional subject papers for 40 marks each, in addition to English paper for 30 Marks (Except for BBA and B.Com General, Computer Applications, Business Analytics, BFTBachelor in Fashion Technology and B.Sc (Hons) Design & Technology). English paper is common to all courses.
For BBA and B.Com. (General, Computer Applications& Business Analytics) courses, the question paper will be composed with English, Economics & Commerce subjects. 50 marks for each subject.
For BFT – Bachelor in Fashion Technology and B.Sc (Hons) Design & Technology, the question paper will be composed with English, General Ability, General knowledge and Design Ability. General Ability, General Knowledge, and Design Ability shall be for 40 marks each, and English shall be for 30 Marks.

TS Gurukul Degree Admissions 2025
Mere appearing for the Entrance Test does not confer any right for TS Gurukul Degree Admissions. Candidates shall also fulfill other admission criteria stipulated by MJPTBCWREIS, TSWREIS and TTWREIS.
The administration reserves the right of changing the rules to be followed as per the directions of the Government and University from time to time.
The candidates are personally held responsible for any incorrect information Submitted application form.
The Convener reserves the right to cancel the admission at any stage, if the particulars furnished by the candidate are found incorrect or against the rules of admission. The fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
TGRDC CET Reservation of Seats 2025
a) Rule of reservation in MJPTBCWR Degree Colleges admissions
The admissions will be made in the following reservation ratio: BC A – 15%; BC B – 25%; BC C – 3%; BC D – 17%; BC E – 10%; MBC – 5%; SC – 2%; ST – 15%; OC/EBC – 2%; ORPHAN – 3%; TOTAL – 100%.
b) Rule of reservation in TSWR Degree Colleges admissions
The admissions will be made in the following reservation ratio: SC – 75% ; SC Converted Christian – 2% ; ST – 6% ; BC – 12% ; Minorities – 3% ; OC/EBC – 2%. TOTAL – 100%
c) Rule of reservation in TTWR Degree Colleges admissions
The admissions will be made in the following reservation ratio: ST – 85 %; SC -2.5 %; BC – 2.5 %; OC/EBC – 2.5 %; Sports/NCC – 2.5 %; AEQ/ ORPHAN – 2.5 %; PHC – 2.5 %; Total – 100%.

TSRDC CET Online Apply 2025
- All eligible students are required to apply through online mode only at http://tsrdc.cgg.gov.in/( For Telangana Students) Steps to be followed in submission of the application through ‘Online’.
- The candidate shall first go through the information bulletin carefully and satisfy their eligibility for appearing for RDC CET.
- The candidate after satisfying himself/herself about the eligibility criteria for the submission of application through online shall pay a fee of Rs.150.00 through TSONLINE or mee-Seva from as per the schedule for submission of application through Online.
- At the TSONLINE or mee-Seva Centre, the candidate has to give the required preliminary data (i.e. Name of the candidate, Date of birth and mobile phone number).
- On receipt of fee at TS ONLINE or mee-seva, the candidate shall be issued a Journal Number’ with which she/he can proceed with submission of application through online through the website http://tsrdc.cgg.gov.in/( For Telangana Students) Issue of Journal Number does not mean that the candidate has completed submission of application online. It is only a confirmation of the fee received.
- Before submission of the Online application form, the candidate has to fill up the Model Application form ( given at annexure-1)
- The candidates shall follow the procedure for submission of online application as given in the ‘Information Bulletin’ and also as per the instructions provided online while filling up the online application form. The Candidate should be ready with photograph of size 3.5 X 4.5 cms before filling in on-line application. The Photo should be scanned and uploaded along with the application form.
- While filling the on line application, the candidate has to opt the course. Once a course is opted, that cannot be changed.( For the courses to be opted see the table at XI)
- The candidate has to mention the names of colleges in which admission is seeking on order of priority among the eligible colleges.
- On submission of Application ONLINE, the candidate has to take a copy(print) of application form in which a reference number also be given. This Reference number is required to download the Hall Ticket. The copy of online application is to be preserved for further reference.
- For any mistakes/incorrect information, the candidate is solely held responsible. Hence, they must take utmost care while filling the online application.
- The Applications of the ineligible candidates will be rejected Summarily
- The selected Candidate should be able to produce the original certificates at the time of admission as a proof to the information furnished in the application.
- The selection of the candidate will be summarily rejected if they fail to submit the necessary documents at the time of admission.
TGRD CET Exam Date 2025
TGRDC CET Exam Date is 28-04-2025.
TGRDC CET Hall Ticket 2025
Candidates can download their TGRDC CET Hall Ticket from tsrdccet.cgg.gov.in from 21.04.2025 onwards with the reference number allotted to them.
No printed hall ticket shall be issued/posted to the candidate. Without hall ticket, no candidate will be allowed to appear for the entrance test.
TGRDC CET Selection Process 2025
The students will be selected on the basis of merit list in the Entrance Test, Community reservation, Local Area, Special Category. Selection of students shall be made based on the following:
- Merit in the RDC CET Entrance Examination
- Option exercised( i.e. option for college and option for course)
- Rule of reservation for seat matrix has to be followed.
- Reservation under Special category to be followed.
Tie among the candidates with same marks
In case of tie among the candidates with same marks in the TGRDC CET 2025 entrance test, the order of the merit of the subjects in entrance examination as detailed below will be taken into consideration.
- For B.Sc. (MPC, MPCS & MPG) & Physical Sciences (CBCS): Maths, Physics & Chemistry
- For B.Sc. (BZC, MBZC, MBZG, NZC, BZG, ANPHBC, BBCC, BBTC & BTBCC) and Life Sciences (CBCS): Botany, Zoology & Chemistry
- For B.Sc. (MSCS, MSDS, MSAI&ML & MECS) & Physical Sciences (CBCS): i) Maths, Physics & Chemistry for Inter MPC students ii) Maths, Economics & Commerce for Inter MEC students
- For BFT, BHMCT and B.A. (EPH, EPP, EPSPA, HEP, HES, HPE, HPS, IREP & PPGEP) & B.A.(CBCS): History, Economics & Civics e) For BBA & B.Com. (General, Computer Applications & Business Analytics): Economics & Commerce
- If the tie still persists, the higher marks secured by the candidate in English will be taken into consideration.
- If the tie still persists, it will be decided by taking advanced age as criteria.

TGRDC CET Selected Students list 2025
The Hall ticket Numbers of the selected candidates’ society wise, college wise and course wise, who got admission in the respective colleges will be displayed in the website and shall be made available on tsrdccet.cgg.gov.in after declaration of the results.
General Instructions:
These Degree Colleges are the prestigious State Level Colleges where high quality of discipline, scholastic pursuits and career building are expected. The managements of the Colleges make efforts organizing the co-curricular, leadership and management development programmes to enrich the instructional stream.
- Admission will be made on the basis of Marks obtained in the RDC CET.
- Every student admitted shall reside in the hostel attached to the college.
- Examination will be conducted on Intermediate syllabus (Board of Intermediate Education, Hyderabad) for group subjects.
- Questions will be in both English and Telugu media and in objective type multiple choice questions.
- Answers should be marked in OMR sheet with Black ballpoint pen only.
- If the candidate bubbles more than one circle the answer will be automatically invalid.
- There will be no negative marks for wrong answer.
- For correct results all the answered circles should be shaded fully and thickly.
- For any corrections in the shaded circles, erase the first wrong answer and shade the correct one.
- Computer scanners may not attract half circled or thinly shaded circles which result in loss of marks.
