TSWREIS Military Degree College Entrance Test or TSWREIS Army Degree College Entrance Test: Students of the state are being imparted military training at the Telangana Women’s College of Social Welfare Gurukuls’ Military Degree College in ‘Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District Bibinagar Zone Raghavapuram’ with the intention of providing opportunities in the three forces (Army, Navy, Air Force).
It provides free education to interested students and prepares them mentally and physically to participate in national defense. Application for admission in this military training has been released. Those interested should pay a fee of Rs.100 and apply on the website.
TSWR Army Women Degree College Admissions or Bibinagar Women’s Degree College: Telangana Social Welfare Residential Armed Forces Preparatory Degree College for Women is offering BA (HEP), B.Com (Computers), B.Sc (MPC, MSCS, BZC, MBZC) courses for the academic year.
240 Seats: The total seats in the first year was 240. Specialized seats reserved for girls belonging for SC, for Minority, for ST categories
Eligibility: Girls who have passed the Inter with at least 60 per cent marks in the academic year are eligible to join. Must be 16 years of age or older by July 1 of this year. The annual income of the parents should not exceed Rs.2 lakhs in urban areas and Rs.1 lakh in rural areas.
Selections: Girls will be selected on the basis of written test, psychoanalysis test, medical test, lecture and interview based on subjects in inter-academic subjects.
Test Details: a) The written test is similar to the multiple choice for 100 marks. One mark is allotted for one question. b) The physical test includes 100m sprint, 400m sprint, sit ups and shuttle race. The Obstacle Test tests height, depth, jumping, and any unknown fears.
c) Psychoanalytic tests include the Thematic Appreciation Test (Picture), the Word Association Test (10 words), and the Situation Reaction Test (however situations). They will have to talk for a while on the topic given later.
Finally, a personality test and a medical test are performed and the final selection is made.
Eligibility: (a) Education Qualification: The Girl students who are appearing senior Intermediate IPE with minimum 60% of marks in their first year Intermediate are eligible to apply online and to appear for the entrance test and for Physical and Medical Screenings for above admissions. English medium students will be given preference.
(b) Age Limit: Entry is only for girls who are 16 years or above as on 1st July of the year of admission. (c) NCC / Games & Sports / Ex-Servicemen / Orphan – Students belonging to all these four categories are allotted one seat per category within the concerned community quota as per reservation. (d) Height: Applicant height should be more than 152 cms.
(e) Income Limit: The annual income of the parent shall not exceed Rs.2,00,000/- per annum (for Urban students) and Rs.1,50,000/- (for Rural students) as certified by the MRO. (f) The students from Telugu / English media are eligible for this entrance test.

Tests’ venue details: All the tests (Written, Physical & Medical) will be conducted at TSWRAFPDCW, Bhongir @ Bibinagar, Yadadri Bhongir District.
Other Information: Breakfast and Lunch will be provided at venue for candidates appearing for the entrance test and their parents (only one) on the day of entrance examination. The marks secured by the candidate in any of the screening test shall not be displayed (or) revealed to the candidates / parents / others
There is no provision for revaluation of the answer scripts of the written screening test as this result is processed through verification and sufficient care is taken to ensure accuracy. There shall be no appeal in case of disqualification or being declared unfit in Physical and Medical tests.
In case of any dispute, the decision of the Secretary, TSWREIS shall be final and binding on the candidates. The provisional selection of the merit candidate shall not vest any right with the candidate to secure admission.
The admission shall be confirmed only on submission of the required documents as stated in the online application and in accordance to prospectus (failing which admission may be cancelled).
The Secretary, TSWREIS reserves right to postpone / modify / change admission test schedule. Any information regarding this entrance test shall be sent to the registered Mobile Number of the candidate through SMS. Hence, the candidates are directed not to change the Mobile Number.
The medium of instruction in the above specialised college is ENGLISH only.
