The Social Welfare Society has released the TGSWR COE CET 2025 or TGSWREIS Entrance Test 2025 notification for IIT, COE, Magnet Colleges for Free inter with integrated Entrance Exams free coaching in TS Social Welfare Residential Colleges in Telangana State.
The goal of the Telangana government is to provide free quality education to every poor student at the expense of corporate colleges.
As part of that effort, the ‘Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWR EIS)’ was established.
Recently the institute has released the advertisement for Gurukul Pratibha College Inter First Year Admissions in the State for the academic year.
Those who get admission in these will be given free coaching along with intermediate education for national level competitive examinations like IIT, NIT, NEET, CLAT, CMA. Teaching will be in English medium

TGSWRCOE CET Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for TGSWREIS RJC CET admissions in COE Residential Junior Colleges: Students who are preparing to take the SSC Public Examination in March 2025 or are enrolled in the 10th grade in ICSE/CBSE on a regular basis are eligible to apply.
Those who successfully pass the SSC or 10th grade from CBSE/ICSE during the 2022-23 academic year on a regular basis are also eligible for admission into Intermediate in COE Junior Colleges.
To qualify for admission, a student’s annual parental income should not exceed Rs. 2,00,000/- per annum (for urban students) and Rs.1,50,000/- (for rural students). At the time of admission, an income certificate issued by MRO must be submitted to confirm eligibility.
The entrance test is open to students from Telugu Medium or English Medium. The age of eligible students should not exceed 17 years as of August 31, 2025. However, SC and SC Converted Christian students will be allowed a relaxation of two years in age.
All relevant original certificates must be provided at the time of admission to confirm eligibility and secure admission.

Reservation for TS Gurukulam Entrance Test for TGSWR COE Inter Gurukulam Admissions: According to G.O.Ms.No.20, Dated : 02.06.2016 of Scheduled Caste Development (RS) Department, community wise reservation is mandated.
Specifically, 3% of all seats are to be set aside for physically handicapped students, including those with orthopedic, hearing, visual, or locomotor disabilities, provided they can attend to their work independently as verified by a medical board.
However, those with more than 50% handicap are ineligible. Burstiness and perplexity are introduced by the fact that another 3% of overall seats are reserved for orphan students, regardless of their caste.
Predictability is low since the specific qualifications and requirements for each group are detailed and must be met to receive the reserved seats.

TS Gurukul COE CET Admission Process
Process for COE SC Gurukulam Inter Admissions through TS Gurukul COE CET: he TGSWREIS admission procedure requires candidates to submit their applications online through the website: https://tgswreis.telangana.gov.in/.
The registration fee of Rs.100/- must be paid regardless of caste, and payment options include credit card, debit card, or NET banking.
Before filling out the application, candidates should read the uploaded prospectus carefully, and it is advisable to prepare a hard copy before filling out the application online to avoid mistakes.
To complete the application, the candidate must upload a photo and signature within a 50 kb size limit. Candidates must also select their group of interest (MPC, BPC, MEC, or CEC) in the payment gateway to be considered for admission into TGSWR Institutions.
For admission into COE Gurukulams, candidates will undergo a one-level screening test that will be conducted in an objective format. Admission to COEs will be based on merit obtained in the screening test and preferences given by the candidate, while also following reservation patterns.
The final decision on admission into COE colleges will be based on the availability of seats and the candidate’s merit in their respective caste.
The candidate’s group preference selected in the payment gateway cannot be changed once exercised. Seats in COE colleges will be allotted based on state-wide merit in the screening test.
It is important to note that candidates cannot change their group preference at the time of admission, and they are advised to download their Hall ticket between 20.02.2025 to 04.03.2025 to appear for the screening test scheduled on 05.03.2025.

TGSWREIS Entrance Test (TGSWRCOE CET) Details:
The date for the TGSWRCOE Admission Test is set for 05.03.2025 and will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. This test is based on Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) and consists of 160 marks.
The questions will be of the multiple-choice type, and each question carries a value of one mark. However, for each incorrect response, 1/4th of a mark will be deducted.
The test will consist of four sets of question papers, namely SET-A, SET-B, SET-C, and SET-D, with the questions jumbled up within each set. Candidates must write and bubble the set (series) of question paper provided to them in the space provided in OMR, or else the valuation cannot be done.
The entrance test question paper will be bilingual, meaning it will be available in both English and Telugu media. It’s essential to note that the medium of instruction at the intermediate level is English only.
If two or more candidates obtain the same marks, the candidate’s date of birth will be taken into consideration, and if their DOB is also the same, the marks obtained in subjects will be evaluated in the following order based on the group chosen by the candidate: English, Mathematics, Bio Science, Physical Science, Social Studies, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs.
The test will be based on the knowledge of subjects from class VIII to SSC, with the Secretary having the right to allocate candidates from one region to another region as per seat availability.
Admission to these colleges will be granted based on the merit obtained in the screening test, while also considering the candidate’s preferences of Group/College as exercised by them in the ONLINE application.
Final Selection
- The selection process will be based on merit, provided that the candidates fulfill the prescribed criteria of eligibility and reservation.
- Candidates who have passed the SSC Public Examinations in 2025 in their first attempt are eligible for admission.
- For admission into COEs (Centers of Excellence), the statewide merit list will be considered.
Information to Candidates
This is a set of guidelines for a screening test. The OMR answer scripts cannot be re-evaluated, and the decision of the Secretary is final.
Provisional selection does not guarantee admission, and admission will only be confirmed upon presenting the necessary documents as listed in the online application and prospectus.
The examination centers are district-wise, and the Secretary has the right to modify the test schedule. Candidates will receive information about the test via SMS on their registered mobile number.
The second language in all institutions will be Telugu. Only blue or black ballpoint pens should be used to mark the OMR sheets, and overbubbling, semi-bubbling, and multiple bubbling are not allowed.
Using a red or other color pen will result in the OMR not being scanned. Selected students will receive benefits provided by the SC Development Department, such as free boarding, lodging, and examination fees.
Results will be sent via SMS, and a help-line number is available for further information. The deadline for online application submission is January 31st, 2025, and hall tickets can be downloaded from February 20th to March 4th.
Candidates are advised to visit their assigned centers at least one day in advance to avoid confusion and make their transportation arrangements. No complaints will be entertained for late reporting or difficulty in finding the location.
