Online Science Talent Search Exam 2023
Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan is an Online Science Talent Search Exam 2023. The first level of this Science Talent Search Examination will be conducted online for students of class VI to VIII (Jr. Group) and class IX to XI.
Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan is a unique online examination to be conducted at national level. The registered students will take the exam using his/ her own device namely a laptop/ tablet / smart phone (mobile with any OS) and his /her own internet connetcivity. The school level examination will be conducted nationwide, on same day and at same time.
The examination will be conducted for the Junior Group (class VI to VIII) and for the Senior Group (class IX to XI). Evaluation of student will be based on their individual performance at every level. The examination will be conducted in English, Hindi, Malyalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Bangali and Punjabi.
However, registered students can download the Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) app and practice mock tests based on their user ID and password.

VVM Syllabus
- The syllabus for the examination will be from the Science and Mathematics Textbooks of respective state boards / NCERT (40 marks).
- In addition, the exam also covers Indian Contribution to Science (20 marks),
- The life of Dr. Homi Bhaba and Dr. Vikram Sarabhai (20 marks) and
- logic/ reasoning/ general knowledge (20 marks).
Study material will be uploaded by them for the syllabus on Indian Contribution in science and life of Dr. Homi Bhaba and Dr. Vikram Sarabhai on their website. No printed material is given.
Exam duration: The duration of the exam will be for 2 hours (11.00 A.M to 1.00 P.M). The mode of exam will be online using a mobile phone/tablet/laptop.

STATE LEVEL CAMP (SLC)
Top 20 rankers per class per state will be identified to participate in the one or two days State Level Camp (SLC). Winners will have to attend the State Camp with their own travel expenses. The camp will be organised anywhere within the state. The venue and other details will be informed to all selected students.
NATIONAL CAMP (NC)
From each State Camp, top two students from each class i.e. total 12 students per state, will be invited to a two-day National Camp.
National Camp (NC) will comprise Presentations, Scientific Understanding, Innovation and Creativity, Out of Box Activities, & Assessment of Leadership Quality.
