AP State Level School children festival: SPD, AP SSA, Proc.No.Spl-2016, Date:20.10.2016, To Celebrate a 4 – Day State level School children festival in Amaravati from 11th -14th November 2016 on the occasion of National Education Day and Children’s Day – Reg.
I am very glad to inform you that, the APSSA is decided to celebrate Four Day State level School children festival in Amaravati during 11th -14th November 2016 on the occasion of National Education Day (Birth anniversary of first Union Education Minister Sri Moulana Abul Kalam Azad) and Children’s Day (first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru).
Tribute is payed to all children in the State in the form of joy, fun and to determine the internal skills, to develop inter-relationships among the students of government schools in the state of Andhra Pradesh by conducting Sports & Games, Cultural & Literary events for the 6th to 8th Class students in the State.
All the POs and DEOs are included as members in organizing committee are hereby directed to take necessary action in finalizing the district teams as per the guidelines issued and participants as the number indicated in the Annexure enclosed herewith. The list of participants should enclose in the excel format only and the nominations should reach the state project office on or before 04-11-2016.
The Honorable Chief Minister and Honorable HRD Minister will grace the occasion.
POs are instructed to constitute a district level committee, the district collector/Nominee as Chairman, District Education Officer as Vice Chairman, Project Officer of SSA as Convener, District Sports Development Officer as Co-Convener and all Sectoral officers of DPO as members. POs should get the status from the committees and inform the same to the State Project Director time to time. Hence all POs & DEOs are directed to take active role in making the programme should be success in a grand manner.
