APSCERT SSC Examinations Reforms and Request for Suggestions, APSCERT Proc.Rc.No.185 SSC 10th Class Examinations Reforms, The Director, State Council of Educational and Research and Training, Hayderabad has issued Proceeding Rc.No.185 on March 18th, 2013.
In this regard two workshops have been conducted at SCERT duly involving a team of experts which includes Addl. Directors of School Education, Professors from Universities, Principals of CBSE schools, CTE, DIET staff, headmasters, teachers and faculty of SCERT etc.
In this regard, all the RJD SEs and DEOs are here by informed that to conduct a one day workshop with District Common Board Examination duly inviting experts
i.e. Dy.EOs, Asst. Commissioner Govt. Exams, staff of CTEs, IASEs, DIETs, headmasters, teachers, textbook writers, representatives from identified private school management and discuss on the draft proposals enclosed here with and furnish suggestions in this regard.

All the RJD SEs and DEOs in the State are here by informed that vide reference cited the Commissioner & Director of School Education requested Director, SCERT to propose reforms in the S.S.C examinations in view of curricular reforms, new textbooks and implementation of CCE from class I to VIII.
In this regard, two workshops have been conducted at SCERT duly involving a team of experts which includes Addl. i.e. Dy.EOs, Asst. Commissioner Govt. Exams, staff of CTEs, IASEs, DIETs, headmasters, teachers, textbook writers, representatives from identified private school management and discuss on the draft proposals enclosed here with and furnish suggestions in this regard. The discussions and suggestions may be on the following areas.
- Draft proposals
- The role of District Common Board in the implementation of revised S.S.C examinations (9th and 10th).
- Capacity building of teachers, headmasters and District Common Board members.
- Training to private school teachers and headmasters on examination reforms.
In this regard, it is requested to conduct a one day workshop in all the districts under the DCEB chaired by DEO. The RJD SEs are requested to monitor the programme in the districts under their control and attend in one or two districts workshops. The SCERT staff may also be deputed to the districts to participate in one day workshop.
The suggestions must reach the Director, SCERT on or before 25th March, 2014 positively by both through mail (curriculumdeptscert@gmail.com) and hard copy. The DEOs are also requested to place the draft proposals on their websites and issue press notes calling for suggestions from the educationists and general public and the same may also be furnished to this office.
