UGC NET Exam City Intimation Slip 2025, How download from ugcnet.nta.nic.in

The National Testing Agency has released the advanced city intimation slip for the UGC NET December and June attempts.

This time, both attempts have been merged, and instead of two exams, a single exam will be held for two attempts.

Candidates who registered for the exam can download their UGC NET Exam city intimation slip 2025 from the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in or nta.ac.in.

It is an Advance Information for Allotment of Centre City to the Applicant. The advanced city intimation slip (Advance Intimation for Allotment of Examination City) will inform candidates about the city in which they have to appear for the exam.

This is not admit card. To enter the examination hall, students must download their admit card or hall ticket from official websites. The UGC NET admit card will be released soon.

NTA UGC NET Exam City allotment Details

UGC NET Exam Date: National Eligibility Test (NET) to be held to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor Both in Indian universities and colleges.

NTA conducted NET in 83 subjects at 88 selected NET Examination Cities nationwide.

The UGC NET exam will be conducted in two parts. The NTA UGC NET December exam will consist of two papers only.

Paper 1 will consist of 50 compulsory questions, each worth 2 marks, while Paper 2 will consist of 100 compulsory questions, each worth 2 marks.

Candidates will be given 1 hour to attempt Paper 1 and 2 hours to attempt Paper 2. Paper 1 will carry 100 marks in total, while Paper 2 will carry 200 marks in total.

For the first time this year, a process of “digital scoring ” was used to calculate the results. The process of digit scoring was scaled up further at about 400 exam centres across the country for the UGC NET exam. OMR sheets were scanned at the exam centres and instantly stored at the central server of NTA.

NTA UGC NET Admit cards to be released at https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in/: The University Grants Commission (UGC) is likely to release the admit cards for the National Eligibility Test (NET) soon. Though there has been no official notification regarding the same, they are expected to be released in the first week of September.

Candidates who have applied for the paper should download their admit cards from the official website. Candidates who clear the paper will be eligible for a junior research fellowship or will be considered eligible for the post of assistant professor.

The exam will be divided into three papers. Papers 1 and 2 will include 50 questions for 100 marks which candidates will have 1 hour and 15 minutes to answer. Paper 3 will contain 75 questions for 150 marks which candidates will have 2.5 hours to answer.

Paper 1 will contain questions on reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness. Paper 2 and 3 will include questions on the subject selected by the candidate.

In order to clear the UGC NET, candidates need to score a minimum of 40 percent (35 percent for reserved categories) as an aggregate across the three papers.

Candidates should check the admit card for any discrepancies in details and the examination venue. They must then carry the admit card to the examination centre.

The exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for the posts of assistant professor and Junior Research Fellowship.

Candidates must log in using their credentials, including their application number and date of birth, to download the city intimation slip.
