Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has given Head Constable Posts 2020 recruitment. Online Applications through website of CRPF at (www.crpfindia.com) are invited from Male & Female Indian citizens for the post of Head Constable in Central Reserve Police Force for filling up of vacancies for direct recruitment, through online.
Directorate General, Central Reserved Police Force has invited applications for serving male and female constables (General Duty/ Bugler/Mali/Painter) of the force for Group C posts of Head Constable in the CRPF through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination.
The posts will be temporary at first but may be converted into permanent full-time posts as per the Government order. The interested candidates can apply before March 5, 2020, through offline methods.
CRPF Constable & Head Constable Posts Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: HC/GD (against sports quota): Candidates must pass 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University. AND CT/GD (against sports quota): Candidates must have matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board/ University.
Qualification: Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from a board or university recognized by Central or State Government. Note: Two or Three year Diploma certificate in technical education done after 10th class is not equivalent to intermediate (10+2). and for Constables, Matriculation/ ITI Certificate/ Transport Vehicle driving license.
Age Limit: 18 to 23 years

Constable (General Duty): Level- 3 Rs. 21700-69100

How to apply for CRPF Head Constable Posts? The candidates can apply through the offline method by downloading the form from the official website and sending it through their departments. The proforma is enclosed in the notification of the exam.
Method of Selection: All candidates applying for the recruitment and prima-facie eligible will be asked to appear in Physical Standards Test and Physical Efficiency Test. Detailed scrutiny of their eligibility will not be undertaken before PET/ PST. Therefore, it will be the responsibility of the candidate to verify their eligibility as prescribed in this notice before appearing for PST/ PET.
Physical Standard: Height: Male-170 Cms; Female: 157 Cms
Chest: Male: Unexpended-80 Cms; Expended:Minimum Expansion 5 Cms; Female: Not Applicable
Weight: For males and females:-Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards
The recruitment process will consist of Physical Standards Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Examination, Trade Test and Medical Examination.
STAGE-I: PHYSICAL STANDARD TEST(PST)/ PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST (PET)
Height bar and Physical efficiency test.
05 Kms race for the post of Constable (Driver & Fitter) only.
01 Mile(1.6 Km) race for the posts of other trade(except Driver & Fitter).

STAGE-II: Written Examination – 15/05/2016 (SUNDAY)
STAGE-III: Trade test (practical assessment in two modes (Objective & Subjective) which will be qualifying in nature.
STAGE-IV: Medical examination and checking of Testimonials/Review Medical Examination.

For CRPF Head Constable:
For all candidates except Scheduled Tribes candidates:- Male:165 cms and Female: 155 cms
a) Candidates falling in the categories of Garwalies, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas andcandidates belonging to the state of Sikkim, Nagaland,Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya,Assam, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir:-Male:162.5 cms and Female:150 cms
b) All candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes:- Male:162.5 cms and Female:150 cms
B. Chest for male candidates only:
All except Scheduled Tribe candidates(Genl/OBC/SC):- Unexpanded:77 cms and Expanded: 82 ms
Scheduled Tribes candidates:- Unexpanded:76 cms and Expanded: 81 ms
Proportionate/Corresponding to height and age as per medical standards (For males and females). Over/under weight will be disqualification at the stage of medical examination only.
i) As explained in para-15 of advertisement.
ii) Medical procedure will be done as per guidelines lay down in MHA UO No.A.VI.1/2014-Rectt(SSB) dated 20/05/2015 and any other instructions issued by GOI from time to time.
Skill Test (On computer): English Typing with minimum speed of 35 words per minute on computer. OR Hindi Typing with minimum speed of 30 words per minute on computer. (35 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi corresponding to 10500 key depressions per hour in English 9000 key depressions per hour in Hindi with average of 5 key depressions for each word on computer).
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION/SELECTION PROCESS:
No interview will be conducted. The recruitment shall be held in two phases as under:
A. FIRST PHASE: Written examination.
Written Examination :
a) The written examination will be conducted at designated centre’s.
b) The written examination will be of one paper only carrying 225 marks consisting of following two parts:
Section-A = Hindi Language Or English Language (optional)Note: Candidates will be at the discretion to attempt the language paper consisting of comprehension either in Hindi or English. The exam text will be different for Hindi language and English language.
Section-B = General Intelligence.
Section-C = Numerical Aptitude.
Section-D = Clerical Aptitude.
Part-II: Descriptive paper
1. Essay writing( 15 marks): Content – 05 marks; Coherence/Relevancy- 05 marks; Accuracy – 05 marks
2. Letter writing ( 10 marks): Format – 03 marks; Content – 04 marks; Accurcy – 03 marks
B. SECOND PHASE:
a) Physical Standard Test (PST)/Scrutiny of documents
b) Skill test ( i.e. Typing speed test) (On computers only and regulated through software)
Note: Mode/Procedure/Method for conducting skill test will be decided by the department.
c) Medical examination
Note: The candidate will be allowed to appear in Second phase test subject to qualifying/ passing the first phase of this recruitment process.
