CUET UG 2025
CUET UG 2025 is used by central universities for undergraduate admissions. The universities will declare the counselling schedule and merit list based on the weightage on the CUET score and the other criteria.
Those who have cleared the exam will be eligible for admission to different courses across 14 central universities and four state universities.
Admissions will be given based on the counselling, schedule of which has not been released yet. The counselling is being held digitally for the CUET counselling, details are still awaited.
Common University Entrance Test UG
The Common University Entrance Test for undergraduate courses examination was conducted in 27 different subjects with candidates being able to choose a combination of these subjects across India in a given subject held on different days.
The CUET UG score or CUCET Score will be used by several universities across the country for admission to UG programmes.
The entrance exam was a 100 questions long test for both UG and PG courses. Of the total, 25 questions constitute part A in which students have to answer language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude and analytical skills related topics.
CUET UG Result 2025
The CUET UG Result 2025 is expected to be released on 15th July 2025. The result will be available on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA), which is cuet.samarth.ac.in.
To check your result, you will need to enter your CUET application number and date of birth. Once you have entered your details, you will be able to see your scores and download your scorecard.

The CUET UG Result 2025 will be based on the following factors:
- Your scores in the CUET exam
- The cut-off marks for the courses you have applied for
The cut-off marks will be different for each course and university. The respective universities will release them after the CUET Result 2025 is announced.
If you are shortlisted for course admission, you must submit your application to the university. The application process will be different for each university.
Based on this result, the universities and colleges will release the cut-off list, after which the new session of the first year will start in the colleges.

The CUET UG Result 2025 will be available on the NTA’s official website, which is cute. Samarth.ac.in. To check your result, you will need to enter your CUET application number and date of birth.
Once you have entered your details, you will be able to see your scores and download your scorecard. The CUET UG Results 2025 will be based on your scores in the CUET exam and the cut-off marks for the courses you have applied for.
CUET UG Result 2025
The National Testing Agency is aiming to announce the CUET UG Result 2025 (Common University Entrance Test UG Result) on its website.
Once declared, candidates will be able to check their CUET UG score card on the official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in.
The rest 75 questions form part B or the domain-specific subjects. For research programmes, both A and B sections have 50 questions each.
Each correct answer will carry one mark and for each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted, as per the official notice.
Those candidates who will successfully qualify in the CUET exam will be eligible for admission in 14 central universities and Dr. B R Ambedkar School of Economics. The steps to check given below will help all the appeared candidates to view result easily.
The CUET UG scores will be used by 90 universities, 44 centre-run, 12 state government-run, 21 private, and 13 deemed, to admit students to undergraduate degree courses in the 2025-23 session.
CUET UG Marking Scheme details
- Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: (+5)
- An incorrect answer will be given: (-1)
- Unanswered/marked for review will be given: (0)
- If more than one option is found to be correct then (+5) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options
- If all options are found to be correct then (+5) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question
- If none of the options is found correct or a question is wrong or a question is dropped, then candidates who have attempted the dropped question will be awarded (+5)
CUET UG Exam Pattern
The CUET UG exam paper consisted of multiple choice questions (MCQs). The CUET UG 2025 exam paper was divided into 3 sections. Candidates were asked to answer 140 questions within 150 minutes.

The Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) or Common University Entrance Test UG (CUET UG) is a test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
It is a national-level exam used by several centrally funded universities to admit students to their UG and PG courses. Candidates who have appeared for the entrance exam can check their details and download their admit cards from the website, https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/.
- Candidates need to visit the National Testing Agency, NTA website, https://www.nta.ac.in/ in your device browser.
- Once you reach the official website, click on the Active Examination Link on the home page.
- After clicking on the link, a pop-up window will open on your device. Click on the CUET UG link. Then, the Central Universities Common Entrance Test web page, https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/, will appear.
- Once you reach the CUET UG Exam portal, could you search for the result and Click on it? The result-checking web page will appear.
- In this result checking web page, enter your credentials in the fields. Click on the download button.
- After clicking on the link, your result will be downloaded.
- After downloading the result, take a print and preserve it for future need.

- You can download the UMANG app from the Android Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Open the app and search for NTA
- Select your examination and enter the desired details including application number and date of birth
- The results will appear on screen
CUET UG 2025 Results Check via DIGILOCKER
- Open the DigiLocker App or log on to digilocker.gov.in.
- Create a new registration by submitting the required details or login to your account if you already registered
- Click on ‘CUET Results 2025’ under the education tab
- Submit your Aadhaar details to get your result
CUET UG Merit List 2025
- Soon, the universities will release the CUET UG Merit List for 2025.
- Universities will conduct their individual counseling sessions on the basis of the CUET score.
- The score record would be preserved for up to 90 days from the date the result is declared.

The entrance exam is held in order to shortlist candidates for various undergraduate, postgraduate, BEd, PG Diploma and research programmes.
These programs are offered across central universities located in Haryana, Kerala, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu.
Some of these central universities are the Central University of Haryana, the Central University of Jharkhand, the Central University of Jammu, the Central University of Karnataka, the Central University of Kashmir, the Central University of Kerala, the Central University of Punjab, the Central University of Rajasthan, the Central University of South Bihar, and the Central University of Tamil Nadu.
Merely appearing in CUET does not confer any right to the candidate for admission to the participating course. The selection and admission are subject to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility, rank in merit list, medical fitness, verification of original documents and such other criteria as may be prescribed by the participating central universities (CUs).
NTA will have no role in the selection process – transfer/cancellation/ conversion of seats and admission of CUET appeared candidates in the CU courses. Admissions are handled at each participating central university (CU) level for their respective programs.
