The Food Corporation of India has given the FCI Recruitment 2023 notification on its official website, fci.gov.in and it has started the online application process for the post of various posts. Interested and eligible candidates would be able to apply for the vacancies on the official website.

Selection Criteria: Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of Online Exam followed by the Skill test and then the document verification.
Admit Card: Candidates are also informed that the admit cards will be made available on the official website for download – 15 days prior to announced date of examination
Registration Fee: The registration process includes filling the application form, payment of non-refundable application fees of Rs. 500 and uploading scanned copies of documents including photographs and signature. Candidates can pay the fees by using debit cards (RuPay/ Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro), credit cards, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards/ mobile wallets/ UPI.
EWS Criteria: Candidates belonging to caste which is not recognized as a Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and OBC with a family income of less than 8 lakh annually, having less than 5 acres of agricultural land, residential flat of less than 1000 square feet and residential plots less than 100 square yards in notified municipalities are eligible to avail the 10 per cent reservation quota benefit. Those having residential plots less than 200 square yards in areas other than the notified municipalities are also eligible.

The appointment is provisional and is subject to the Income and Asset certificate being verified through the proper channels and if the verification reveals that the claim to belong to EWS is fake/false the services will be terminated forthwith without assigning any further reasons and without prejudice to such further action as may be taken under the provisions of the Indian Penal Code for production of fake/false certificate. The Income and Asset Certificate issued by any one of the authorities mentioned in the prescribed format shall only be accepted as proof of candidate’s claim as belonging to EWS.
FCI Recruitment Eligibility Details: Candidates should note that any discrepancies in the question paper should be forwarded to the authority within 3 days of the exam at the portal cgrs.ibps.in. “Representation submitted thereafter will not be entertained,” said the recruiting body. The exam will be held in April/ May. Admit cards will be released 15 days before the exam date.
Educational Qualification: Junior Engineer (Civil): Candidates with degree in Civil engineering or Diploma in Civil engineering with one year experience are eligible for the post.
Junior Engineer (Electrical Mechanical): Candidates with degree in Electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or diploma in electrical/ mechanical engineering with one year experience are eligible for the post.
Stenographer Grade 2: Graduates with ‘O’ level qualification of DOEACC and speed of 40 words per minute and 80 words per minute in typing and shorthand, respectively are eligible for the post. Candidates with degree in computer science / computer application with speed of 40 words per minute and 80 words per minute in typing and shorthand, respectively can also apply.
Assistant Grade 2 (Hindi): Graduates with Hindi as the main subject having proficiency in English and one year experience of translating from English to Hindi and vice-versa are eligible for the post. Candidates with post graduation in Hindi can also apply.
Typist (Hindi): Graduates with Hindi typing speed of 30 words per minute are eligible for the post. “Preference will be given to the candidates knowing bilingual typing (English and Hindi) and Computer knowledge,” reads the notice.
Assistant Grade 3 (General): Candidates with Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with proficiency in use of computers can apply.
Assistant Grade 3 (Accounts): Candidates with Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized University with proficiency in use of computers can apply.
Assistant Grade 3 (Technical): Candidates with B.Sc. in Agriculture/ Botany / Zoology / Bio-Technology/Bio-Chemistry/ Microbiology / Food Science or B. Tech / BE in Food Science/Food Science and Technology/Agricultural Engineering / Bio-Technology are eligible to apply. Candidates must have proficiency in computer usage.
Assistant Grade 3 (Depot): Candidates with Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with proficiency in use of computers are eligible to apply.
