The Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) has announced the dates of the Haryana Teachers’ Eligibility Test (HTET) 2023. The Haryana TET 2023 will be conducted on January 2 and 3, according to the official notification at https://bseh.org.in.

The board has also announced that the application process for Haryana TET 2023 is set to begin as per the schedule. Candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website of BSEH. Candidates who want to apply for the examination can apply online on BSEH on bseh.org.in.

Those who want to teach classes 1 to 5 will have to apply for the Primary Teacher (PRT) exam, for classes 6 to 8, candidates must clear the Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) exam and for teaching classes 9 to 12, one must pass the Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) exam.

As per the eligibility criteria of HTET 2023, while primary teachers must have cleared class 12 along with Diploma in Elementary Education (DEIEd), TGT must have completed graduation along with BEd and for PGT, a master’s degree along with BEd is compulsory. Candidates must be between the ages of 18 to 38 years.

Haryana TET Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification: Level-I PRT Teacher: 10+2 Intermediate With 50% Marks and Passed/ Appearing 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education/ Special Education/ B.E.Ed or   10+2 Intermediate with 45% Marks and Passed / Appearing 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education / Special Education / B.E.Ed OR Bachelor Degree in Any Stream and Passed / Appearing 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education / Special Education / B.E.Ed.

Level-II TGT Teacher Class VI to VIII: Bachelor Degree in Any Stream With 50% Marks and 2 Year Diploma in Elementary Education Or Bachelor Degree with 50% Marks and B.Ed/ Special B.Ed Degree Or 10+2 With 50% Marks and 4 years BA B.Ed/ B.Com B.Ed Degree And Level-III PGT Teacher: Master Degree in Concerned Subject with 50% marks and B.Ed Degree.

How to apply for HTET?

Board of School Education, Haryana, BSEH has released the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test, HTET notification. Before applying, candidates are advised to go through the detailed set of guidelines given on the official website. They may also refer to the important dates and step-by-step process shared below on how to apply online.  The application procedure of HTET 2023 examination is completely online. Those candidates who are looking to apply need to visit the official website i.e. http://htetonline.com. Candidates can follow the steps provided below to submit the application.

  1. Visit the bseh.org.in Website

    Candidates must visit the official website(s) of Board of School Education, Haryana and TET bseh.org or haryanatet.in, from the links shared above.

  2. Click on the Haryana TET Application

    On the homepage, click on the link ‘Haryana TET application form’. You will be redirected to a new page.

  3. Create Login ID

    Create a login ID and password with entering required details and click on the proceed button. Then, your login details would be created.

  4. Fill the Application Form

    Login in the application form with your details and fill out the application form with the required information and documents.

  5. Submit Application

    After filling the application form, click on the submit button, Then, your application form would be submitted successfully.

  6. Pay the Application Fee

    After successfully submission of the application form, you can make the fee payment with proper payment gateway method.

  7. Download the Application Form

    After completion of fee payment process, you can download the application form and take a print it, preserve it for future reference.

Candidates will have to pay the application fees for the final submission of the form as without it, the applications will not be accepted. The application fees is different for all levels and can be either paid separately or can be paid combined for all three levels. Haryana TET Admit Card

  • Those candidates who will apply before the last date will be able to download their admit card online through the official website.
  • All the necessary information like date, schedule, and venue of the exam will be mentioned on the admit cards.
  • Candidates are required to enter their registration details in order to download the admit card.
  • No candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall and take the exam without an admit card.
  • Aspirants are also required to carry a photo ID proof at the time of the examination.

For all other candidates of Haryana, the application fee is ₹1,000, 1,800 and 2,400 for appearing in one, two or three levels, respectively. For candidates outside Haryana, including SC and PH candidates, the application fee is 1,000, 1,800, 2,400, respectively.
