How to apply for IBPS Clerk Recruitment?

Since recruitment in clerical cadre in Public Sector Banks is done on State/UT-wise basis, candidates can apply for vacancies in any one State/ UT only. To apply for Clerk posts, candidates must have a degree in graduation from a University recognized by the Government of India. The age limit should be between 20 to 28 years of age, as per the official notification.

Important Events and Dates: Once you click on the homepage, a new page will open with important events and dates for the IBPS Clerk common recruitment process. Check the important dates and remember to complete the process before the closing dates.

Now, in case you have already registered on the website, enter your registration number, password, security code and click on submit. In case not registered, click on the New Registration link available on the top right corner of the page.

Points to remember: Once you click on the New Registration link, a form will open. Read all the important points mentioned on the page and click on Continue.

Enter basic information: Once you click on Continue, an application form with six tabs will open. On the first tab, you need to enter your basic info such as name, mobile number, email ID, etc. After entering all details, click on save and next

Upload photo and signature: Next, you need to upload your photo and signature. The photo should be in 4.5cm * 3.5cm dimension. In case you need more clarification, click on the guidelines available on the page. After uploading the document, click on Next

Enter personal details: On the next page, you need to enter all other details such as gender, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name address, etc. After filling all the details, click on “Validate your details”. Once validation is done, click on save and next

Enter educational and qualification details: On the next tab, enter your educational qualification, language know, and other details. Click on Validate details and after that click on Save & Next

Make bank preference list: Next, you are required to select the bank you would like to apply for. You need to select all the banks given on the page. After making the order preference, click on validate your details. To move forward, click on save & Next

Review application form: Review your complete application form once again. Provide confirmation for the photo, signature, and declaration and click on Final Submit. The candidates should note that they can’t change/edit the application form after the final submission.

Upload thumb impression and handwritten declaration: Next, you need to upload your thumb impression, handwritten declaration and security code provided on the page. After uploading the documents, click on Save & Next

Fee Payment: Your application form is complete now. You need to pay the application fee before the final submission of your application form. The application fee for general candidates is Rs 600 and for Rs 100 for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM candidates. Save and take a print out of the application reference after application fee payment.

Qualification: Any Bachelor Degree. Age (As on 01.09. 2020): 20 to 28 years. Application Fees: Rs. 100 for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates. Rs. 600 for all others. Selection Procedure: Online Preliminary examination, Online Main examination. The examination will be two tiers i.e. the online examination will be held in two phases – online preliminary and online main.

Steps to complete the IBPS Clerk Registration

Go to the IBPS website: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the online application link for the common recruitment process for the recruitment of clerks in participating organizations (CRP Clerk) on its official website, ibps.in. In case you want to register for the IBPS Clerk recruitment process, you have to register on the website first. To register, click on the link available on the homepage.

  1. Visit the ibps.in Website

    Go to the official website ibps.in and click on the activated link. A new window would open.

  2. Click on Registration Link

    Once you reach the official website, click on the New Registration on the home page and fill the form that opens. This would be your personal information form.

  3. Fill the Registration Form

    Candidates are advised to provide an active e-mail id and mobile number as the user id/ registration number and password would be sent via mail. After completion of registration, you would get your registration number on mail.

  4. Login the web page

    Use the user id and password to login on the IBPS portal.

  5. Upload the Documents

    Upload the photograph, signature, and other documents.

  6. Fill the form

    Fill the academic details to complete the online application form.

  7. Pay the Application Fee

    After uploading the documents and other details, the system would prompt you to pay the fees.

  8. Submit application fee

    Submit the fees by any of the online modes provided and complete the application process.

  9. Download the Application

    After complete the application process, download the application form, take a print it and preserve it for future reference.
