The last date to apply for IBPS Clerk 2020-21 exam is now extended till November 6, 2020. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, IBPS would be reopening the registration and online application form for the IBPS Clerk 2020-21 on the official website.
The deadline for applying for clerical posts in national banks has been extended from October 23 to November 6. Fees, including online registration, allow for changes, additions, etc. to the application that has been made so far. The deadline for qualifications and eligibility has also been extended to November 6. The rest of the details have already been released.

Last year the exam was held on December 7, 8, 14 and 21. The exam was notified on September 17. This year, also IBPS has released the Clerk recruitment notification on 01-09-2020.
IBPS is conducting this recruitment drive to fill up 2557 Clerical vacancies. The recruitment process will include online preliminary exam and online main examination.
IBPS Clerk Recruitment: The preliminary exam for selection of clerks in nationalised banks will be done by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) in December. Usually IBPS clerk held in December and the recruitment notification is notified in September.

Banking recruitment agency IBPS has issued a new notification for the recruitment of 2557 clerical posts in National Banks. Of these, 20 are in Telangana and 10 in AP. Eleven banks are participating in this recruitment. However the majority of banks did not declare vacancies.

Graduates are eligible for the IBPS clerk. Proficiency in the official language of the state or union territory is preferred in candidates.
After the application forms are released, candidates are given a deadline to fill and submit the forms along with the exam fee. The admit cards for the exam are released weeks before the exam. Selection to IBPS clerk is through a preliminary exam and a main exam. No interview is held for selection to this post.

According to a notification issued by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) to fill clerk posts in banks by 2021-22 – over 12,000 posts will be filled nationwide. Approximately 1,400 posts will be filled in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. By the end of the recruitment process (31 March 2021) this number is likely to be increased.
Candidates are selected through two-stage objective type exams to be conducted through online mode. The first tier (preliminary) exam is a eligibility test. The Final Selections will be based on the marks scored by the candidates in the second tier (Mains).
Candidates must pass the minimum marks in each section of both the Preliminary and Main Exam. For each incorrect answer, a quarter of the marks assigned to that question are deducted from their total marks.

IBPS Clerk Posts: Candidates may please go through the official notification carefully before applying for the IBPS Clerk 2020 examination. The application process is online and all interested & eligible candidates must apply online. The selection would be done on the basis of the preliminary and main examination. There is no interview round for clerical cadre.

Qualification: Any Degree. Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline (or have an equivalent degree) from a recognized University.
Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/ Diploma/ Degree in computer operations/ Language/ should have studied Computer/ Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/ College/ Institute.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Online Examination (Preliminary and Main).
Apply mode: Online. Candidates can apply online only and no other mode of application will be accepted. Candidates are first required to go to the IBPS’s website www.ibps.in and click on the Home Page to open the link “CRP Clerks” and then click on the option “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP- Clerks (CRP-ClerksIX)” to open the On-Line Application Form.
Candidates will have to click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” to register their application by entering their basic information in the online application form. After that a provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.
Candidate should note down the Provisional registration number and password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent. They can reopen the saved data using Provisional registration number and password and edit the particulars, if needed.

Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the online application themselves as no change in any of the data filled in the online application will be possible/ entertained. Prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required.
No change is permitted after clicking on FINAL SUBMIT Button. Visually Impaired candidates are responsible for carefully verifying/getting the details filled in, in the online application form properly verified and ensuring that the same are correct prior to submission as no change is possible after submission.
The candidate should indicate in the online application the state to which he/she opts for provisional allotment on selection. The option once exercised will be irrevocable.
