Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) has postponed the last date of the application process for the candidates seeking admission in MD/MS courses in the university. The last date of the application process is now April 23. Candidates can apply at the official website, jipmer.edu.in. The last date for the candidates to apply is April 23 till 5 pm.

The duration of MD/MS course is three years from the date of admission. There are 19 disciplines under MD course and 5 disciplines under MS course. The number and distribution of seats are subject to variation depending upon the periodic directives decisions from Competent Authorities.

Eligibility Criteria for JIPMER 2023 PG Entrance Exam:
Interested candidates must possess MBBS or an equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) along with 12 months of compulsory training. Applicant belonging to general and OBC must have scored at least 55 per cent marks in MBBS and for the reserved category, the same is 50 per cent.

JIPMER 2023 Online Application fee:
Candidates will have to pay Rs 1,600 as exam fee. For reserved category candidates, the fee is Rs 1,200 and for foreign nationals, it is Rs 3,000. The OPH and PwD category candidates are exempted from paying any fee.

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) will be conducting NEET-PG 2023 on January 5. As per the official notification, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for PG will be conducted in the computer-based mode. The application form is expected to release in the first week of November.
JIPMER PG Entrance Exam Details: The entrance examination will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT) only. The duration of the examination shall be 3 hours and will be conducted in one shift.
