How to Submit NEET UG Online Application 2021 at neet.nta.nic.in

NEET UG Online Application 2021 link will be activated on its website. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET UG 2021 Notification released in March, Registrations to be started and Apply for NEET UG 2021. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct this entrance exam.

The NEET UG is applicable for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.

The NEET medical and dental entrance exam will be held once a year and in pen-paper mode. The responsibility of the NTA will limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and providing All India Rank to the Directorate General Health Services, Government of India for the conduct of counselling for 15 per cent All India Quota Seats and for supplying the result to state/other Counselling Authorities.

Instructions to Candidates

  • Candidates can submit application forms for NEET UG 2021 online only. No offline application will be entertained.
  • Information Bulletin can be obtained from the official website – nta.ac.in or ntaneet.nic.in
  • Candidates should retain the following documents with them as reference for future correspondence
    • Printouts of the confirmation page of online application.
    • Proof of fee paid (i.e. Bank transaction details supported by confirmation page).
    • At least 4-6 copies of identical passport size and 4-6 postcard size photographs that were scanned and uploaded on the online application.
    • Copy of the system generated self-declaration in respect of candidates from U.T of J&K who have opted for seats under 15% All India Quota.
  • Candidates must ensure that mobile numbers, e-mail ID filled in the online application form are their own or their parents only. The NTA will communicate by SMS and/or email on the given mobile number and email ID respectively.
  • The NTA will not be responsible for non-receipt of latest information due to incorrect mobile number, email ID and correspondence address filled in the online application form.

List of documents needed to apply for NEET UG 2021: So, to apply online, candidates can check the list of documents required to apply for the NEET 2021 examination.

  1. Candidates will require upload scanned images of the candidate’s latest passport size photograph of size 10 kb to 200 kb.
  2. Postcard size photograph (4”X6”) (Size: 50 kb – 300 kb)
  3. Candidate’s signature
  4. Left-hand thumb impression (file size: 10 kb-50 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
  5. Class X Passing Certificate (file size: 100 kb to 400 kb) in JPG/JPEG format.

NEET 2021 admit card will be released on March 27, 2021, and the examination will be conducted on May 3, 2021. The examination which is a pen and paper-based test will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm on the mentioned date. The result would be releasing on June 4, 2021. How to Apply for NEET UG 2021: Candidates are reminded that only online application forms for NEET 2021 would be accepted. To apply, students are required to log in to the official website of NEET 2021 which is ntaneet.nic.in and click on Apply Online link – which is now active.

Follow the instructions and upload the image along with your signature to complete the form. All students are also reminded that the allocation of examination city would be strictly on first come first serve basis. Hence, it is always advisable to apply at the earliest. The online portal for NEET 2021 would be available until November 30, 2021.

Registration process: As per reports, the registration process for NEET 2021 is scheduled to begin from November 1 on the official website, the link for which is https://www.nta.ac.in/medicalexam

NEET UG Info: NEET UG 2021 Exam pattern:

a. NEET is a three-hour long exam which includes three sections – physics, chemistry and biology
b. Of the total 180 questions, 90 would be from biology and 45 each from physics and chemistry
c. Preparation syllabus includes the whole of Class 11 and 12 standard NCERT textbooks in the respective subjects
d. Every correct answer would fetch you plus four marks and every incorrect answer results in a negative mark
e. Questions that are not attempted do not have any penalty marks.

Qualifications and Qualifying Examination Codes

CODE: 01A candidate who is appearing in the qualifying examination, i.e., 12 Standard in 2021, whose result is awaited, may apply and appear in the test but he/she shall not be eligible for admission to the Undergraduate Medical Courses if he/she does not pass the qualifying examination with the required pass percentage at the time of first round of Counselling.

Candidates who have appeared or are appearing at the qualifying Examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subject and expect to pass the Examination with the required percentage of marks are also eligible to apply and appear in the Competitive Entrance Examination. However, their candidature will be considered only if they provide documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying Examination with the required subjects and percentage of marks.
CODE: 02The Higher/Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher/Senior Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of such study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council of Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.

Candidates who have passed 10+2 from Open School or as private candidates shall not be eligible to appear for the ‘National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test’. Furthermore, a study of Biology/Biotechnology as an Additional Subject at 10+2 level also shall not be permissible.

The candidates who have passed 10+2 level with Biology as an additional subject will also be eligible for MBBS Entrance Examination (as per Hon’ble High Court Order No. 2341/-W/DHC/WRIT/D-1/2019 dated 24/09/2019 in the Writ Petition (C) No. 6773/2019. If the institute has to consider an examination of an Indian University or of a foreign/university to be equivalent to the 12 Class under 10+2 scheme/intermediate science examination, the candidates shall have to produce a certificate from the concerned Indian University/Association of Indian Universities to the effect that the examination passed by him/her is considered to be equivalent to the 12 class under 10+2 scheme/intermediate science examination.
CODE: 03The Intermediate/Pre-degree Examination in Science of an Indian University/Board or other recognised examining body with Physics, Chemistry, Biology /Biotechnology (which shall include practical tests in these subjects) and also English as a compulsory subject.
CODE: 04The Pre-professional/Pre-medical Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English after passing either the Higher Secondary Examination or the Pre-University or an equivalent examination. The Preprofessional/Pre-medical examination shall include practical tests in these subjects and also English as a compulsory subject.
CODE: 05The first year of the three years’ degree course of a recognised University with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology including practical tests in these subjects provided the examination is a University Examination and candidate has passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology with English at a level not less than a core course.
CODE: 06B.Sc. Examination of an Indian University provided that he/she has passed the B.Sc. Examination with not less than two of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology)/Biotechnology and further that he/ she has passed the earlier qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
CODE: 07Any other examination which in scope and standard (Last 02 years of 10+2 Study comprising of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology; which shall include practical test in these subjects) is found to be equivalent to the Intermediate Science Examination of an Indian University/Board, taking Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology including practical tests in each of these subjects and English.
