The final list is now available on the official website medicalcounselling.nic.in.
The result for round – 1 of UG Counselling 2020 list can be accessed on the MCC official website – https://medicalcounseling.nic.in/. The registration process for the first round of counselling was started from June 19, -2020 and continued up to June 26, -2020. The candidates who have been allotted the seats are now required to download their allotment letters and report to the respective medical/ dental colleges. Students may please go through the list carefully and check their names. The list is as per the All India Rank given by National Testing Agency. Also, students would also be required to download the NEET 2020 Rank Card and Result. The same has to be downloaded from ntaneet.nic.in.
How to download NEET UG Counselling First Round Seat Allotment Letter 2020
- Go to the official website mcc.nic.in or medicalcounselling.nic.in.
- On the left hand column on the home page the link for downloading the Seat Allotment Letter is activated.
- On the new window that opens, enter your registration number and password to login to your account and download the allotment letter.
Students are again informed that the list that was released yesterday was later withdrawn by MCC. A new allotment list has been released which is now available on the official website. Direct link for the Final Allotment List after Round 1 of NEET Counselling -2020 is also provided here for quick reference. Students need to report to the centred by July 6.
The registration for second round of counselling will begin from July 9, 2020. After the second round of counselling for All India Quota seats, the students who take admission in All India Quota seats should not be allowed/permitted to vacate the seats.
Therefore, the candidates are advised to take a calculated decision of continuing in Second round of AIQ/Deemed/Central Universities as they would not be permitted to resign from 2nd round of AIQ/Deemed/Central Universities. They will also not be allowed to participate in any Counselling after joining in Second Round of AIQ.
It has been decided by MCC that the earlier eligibility criteria of 15% AIQ wherein total candidates called for Counselling were five times the number of seats available for allotment were (as being done previously) has been abolished. All candidates will be eligible till exhaustion of seats.
The 15% seats surrendered by Government Medical/Dental Colleges run as per the approval of MCI/DCI are filled through the counselling conducted by DGHS are known as All India Quota seats. The merit list of the eligible and successful candidates who have opted for 15% All India quota seats has been prepared by the NTA on the basis of marks obtained in the NEET (UG) – -2020. The list of successful candidates has also been forwarded to the Directorate General of Health Services (Medical Examination Cell), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India for the purpose of allotment of seats by Online Counselling to 15% All India Quota Seats
Candidates are informed that the all the NEET Under Graduate (MBBS/BDS) counseling for All India Quota seats/ Institutional Quota/ Domicile (internal candidates) of Central Universities (Aligarh Muslim University/ Banaras Hindu University/ University of Delhi/Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi), (wards of ESIC insured persons) seats of colleges under Employee State Insurance Corporation and Armed Forces Medical College, Pune for the Under graduate session -2020-20 is being conducted by Medical Counseling Committee/ Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
