IGNOU Re-Registration 2023, How to Apply Online for PG, UG, Diploma Course admissions. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has commenced the re-registration process for the IGNOU session on its official website, ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
Candidates can do so on the official website ignou.samarth.edu.in or through student portal on ignou.ac.in. All those candidates who had applied are required to complete the course payment by means of re-registration. Candidates are also required to pay the pending fee online during the re-registration process.

According to the official notification, “re-registration means registering for next year/semester of a programme.” So the re-registration process is only for those candidates who have registered in the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of two and three years.

Candidates can go to the official website of IGNOU, www.ignou.ac.in.
- Click on Re-Registration Link
On the homepage, click on 'Online Admission for July 2021 session Re-Registration'.
- Click on Register Yourself Link
Once you reach the registration web page, click on the 'Register Yourself' link.
- Fill the Application Form
Complete the application form and upload the relevant documents.
- Pay the Admission Fee
After filling the application form, pay the admission fee in online mode.
- Click on the Submit Button
After admission fee payment, you can click on the submit button, your application has been submitted.
- Download the Application Form
Download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy of the same for future use.
- Print the Acknowledgment Slip
Print the acknowledgement slip generated after application submission. Also save and print your application form for future use.
Note: Re-registration means registering for next year/semester of a programme. So it is applicable only to students enrolled in undergraduate/postgraduate programmes of two-three year duration. You can re-register for the next year/semester of your Programme irrespective of whether you have submitted the assignments or appeared in the term-end examination of the previous semester. Candidates should submit the required number of assignments of their courses by the due date to be eligible to appear for the examination. Candidates should also pay the examination fee for all the courses that they are appearing in the examination.
