IISc UG Admission 2023: The Indian Institute of Science, IISc, Bangalore is accepting online applications for admission to its four-year BSc programme. Candidates who have appeared in Class 12 board or any equivalent examination, or passed the board examination and meet the required eligibility criteria can apply for BSc admission in IISc Bangalore.
Candidates must have cleared any of the national level exams KVPY-SA, KVPY-SB, IIT JEE Main, IIT JEE advanced and NEET UG with at least 60 per cent marks. For EWS candidates, the cut-off is 54 for SC and 30 per cent for ST. Candidates will be selected on basis of merit.
Four-Year IISc Bachelor of Science (Research) Programme Admission. Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore offers admission to its four-year Bachelor of Science (Research) Programme. Students who will appear for the 12th standard board examination (or equivalent) and those who have passed this examination in 2020 are eligible to apply for admission to this Programme.

Eligibility for IISc UG Admission 2023: Candidates who have completed their II PUC / 12th Standard and those who are expecting to complete their II PUC / 12th Standard in 2023 are eligible to apply. The candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects during their II PUC / 12th Standard.
Candidates who have studied Biology, Statistics, Electronics, Computer Science, etc., in addition to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are also eligible to apply. The candidates must have secured a first class or 60% or equivalent grade (relaxed to pass class for SC/ST candidates) in the II PUC / 12th Standard examination.

IISc PG Admission 2023: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc ), Bangalore is inviting applications for admission to its Postgraduate and Research programmes. Interested candidates can apply at the official website iisc.ac.in. Courses offered and desired qualifications: IISC offers courses in undergraduate, postgraduate and postgraduate research programs. Biological Science; Chemical Science; Electrical, Electronics and Computer Science (EECS); Interdisciplinary Science; Mechanical science; Physics and mathematical science are important among these. Bachelor of Science (Research): Students who have completed Intermediate are eligible to join these courses. Must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. If you want to join the course, you have to choose one of the disciplines of Biology, Chemistry, Earth and Environmental Science, Material Science, Mathematics and Physics.
Bachelor of Science (Research) for four years (8 semesters). Kishore Vyjnanik Protsahak Yojana (KVPY), JEE Main, JEE Advanced, Neat UG have options based on talent. All those who join this course have to pay around Rs.30,000 per year. Students are selected for scholarships offered by various institutions based on the talent they show in the entrance examination.
PG Courses: The Indian Institute of Science offers Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Design (MDES), Master of Management (MMGT) programs as part of PG courses. Those who want to join MTech should have passed BE / BTech and get good rank in GATE entrance exam. MDES admissions require a BE / BTech / BDES / BARC pass. Also get the best rank in GATE, CEED.
Postgraduate Research Programs: This includes Institute of Integrated PhD, Research Program (MTech (Research) / PhD), External Registration Program (ERP) courses. IISC offers an integrated PhD in Biological, Chemical, Physical and Mathematical Sciences to students with a bachelor’s degree in research and a passion for research.
Eligibility Tests Candidates will be shortlisted and called for interviews on the basis of merit in Jam, Just. On the other hand, most of the students on the Bangalore campus are in the research department. Research is so important here. The company is currently offering annual admissions in Research (PhD / MTech) disciplines.
Those who have a Masters Degree in any Science Branch or have a Medicine / Engineering / Technology / Agriculture / Veterinary Science / Pharmacy or four year Bachelor of Science program are eligible for this course. Also rank in GATE / NET JRF / GPAT. Candidates are then called for interviews.
Candidates joining PhD have to pay around Rs.35,000 per annum, MTech (Research), Integrated PhD, MTech, MDES candidates have to pay around Rs.30,000 and Master Management course Rs.66,000. SCs and STs will be discounted on the respective fees.

Kishore Vaijnanik Protshahak Yojana (KVPY): The Central Ministry of Science and Technology is conducting a national KVPY to provide fellowships to students who are passionate about science. The main purpose of this program is to recognize the potential of students interested in science research and to provide them with academic support as well as to encourage them to pursue research as a profession in the future. It is also a way to get admissions in IISC.
IISC hopes that this will greatly contribute to the development of research in the country. Notification for this program is released in September each year. Then you have to apply online on the relevant website. Those studying BSc, BS, B Stat, B Maths, Integrated MSc., MS in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology courses from Inter first year students studying as a science subject are eligible for this.
KVPY aptitude test will be conducted for the candidates who have applied. Those who show talent in it are shortlisted and called for interviews. The final options are based on the test and the interview. Students who get selected degree will get a stipend of Rs.5000 per month and PG students will get a stipend of Rs.7000.
