My Gov Independence Day Online Quiz Competition 2023, Candidates participate Now

Independence Day Online Quiz Competition 2023 (Aatmanirbhar Bharat – Swatantra Bharat Quiz). As a part of Independence Day Celebrations 2023, an online quiz competition on “Aatmanirbhar Bharat – Swatantra Bharat” will be conducted by Ministry of Defence in coordination with MyGov during 29th July to 10th August 2023 in order to create patriotic feeling among youth and masses.

Salient features: The quiz will be in bilingual format i.e. in Hindi and English. Duration of the quiz will be 5 minutes (300 Seconds), during which a maximum of 20 questions can be answered.

Cash prizes: There will be ten cash prizes i.e. First, Second, Third and Seven consolation prizes as under:

  • (a) 1st Prize Rs. 25,000/-
  • (b) 2nd Prize Rs. 15,000/-
  • (c) 3rd Prize Rs. 10,000/
  • (d) Consolation Prizes (Seven) Rs. 5,000/- each

Rules

Terms and Conditions:

(i) Only Indian Citizens aged 14 years and above can participate in the quiz.

(ii) The criteria for selecting successful winners will be “Maximum Correct Answers in the Shortest Time”, subject to the stipulation of 20 questions attempt and 05 minutes duration.

(iii) An individual is permitted to participate only once in the quiz.

(iv) Any individual who desires to participate in the quiz will be required to provide his/her name, date of birth, correspondence address, email address and mobile number.

(v) Bonafide documents (proof of identity, age, address and bank details), will be required to be submitted by the winners after announcement of the result of the quiz. Non-furnishing of the above information/ documents at appropriate stage will render the selection null and void.

(vi) The same mobile number and same Email ID cannot be used more than once for participation in the quiz.

(vii) Discovery/detection/noticing of use of any unfair/spurious means/ malpractices, including but not limited to impersonation, double participation etc. during the participation in the quiz, will result in the participation being declared null and void and hence, rejected. The organizers of the quiz competition or any agency acting on their behalf reserves the right in this regard.

(viii) Employees, directly or indirectly, connected with organizing the quiz are not eligible to participate in the quiz. This ineligibility also applies to their immediate family members.

(ix) Participants can view their score after the last date of the quiz.

  • This is a timed quiz with 20 questions to be answered in 300 seconds
  • These questions will be randomly picked from the question bank.
  • Winners will be adjudged on the basis of maximum number of correct answers.
  • In case of multiple participants having given same number of correct answers, the participants who take the least time to complete the quiz will be adjudged the winner.
  • You can skip a tough question and come back to it later.

Independence Day Celebrations

Independence day Essay writing Painting & Quiz Competitions, This year the nation is completing 70 years of independence on 15th August. Cultural festivals, Band Competitions, Patriotic programs, Essay / Quiz/ Debate competitions, Slogan writing competitions, Painting Competitions, and other related participatory activities should be conducted from 8th to 15th August in the run-up to the Independence Day.

In this connection, besides the regular programs organized by the State/District authorities, it is desirable that additional activities may be undertaken during Independence Day Celebrations with the objective to create festive and patriotic mood across the nation and for stronger involvement and participation of the general public in the Independence Day Celebrations.

For celebrating the Independence Day in a befitting manner, the schools/ institutions may be instructed to undertake the following participatory activities in the run-up to the Independence Day from 8th to 15th August

i) Patriotic programs: Arranging patriotic programs and giving exposure to children for national integrity and the struggle and sacrifices of the independence movement.

ii) Essay /Quiz/Debate competitions: Essay /Quiz/Debate competitions may be organized for students on the theme of the struggle for independence.
iii) Slogan writing competitions: Patriotic slogan writing competitions.

iv) Meetings: Holding meetings of School Management Committees (SMCs)/Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs) on the themes of patriotism, Contribution of the community and society in nation-building.
v) Prabhat Pheris: Organising of Prabhat Pheris by students, with patriotic slogans and banners.

vi) Painting Competitions: Painting Competition for students on various themes of 70 years of independence.
vii) Band Competitions: School Band Competitions and band displays at sub-division/District level, P.T., parade, march past may be carried out after morning assembly.

viii) Periodic films: Showing periodic films on the journey of India’s progress from the independence period to the present era, life stories of freedom fighters, scientists, etc.

ix) Unity and Swachhta pledge: Taking unity and Swachhta pledge by students and teachers.

x) Cultural festivals: Organising cultural festivals including dance, drama and other cultural activities on India’s independence struggle, including roleplay by children.

It is accordingly requested to take necessary action and issue necessary instructions to district authorities, the schools/ educational institutions, so as to ensure wholehearted participation of students, teachers, parents, local people, and representatives, etc. in this National festival. An activity report in this regard may be furnished to this department by 20th August .
