Instructions for Effective Implementation of Curricular, The Commissioner and Director of School Education, Telangana State, Hyderabad issued Proceedings Rc.No.402 on December 12, 2014 for effective implementation of curricular and examination reforms and Certain instructions have been issued to all the RJDSEs and DEOs for the effective implementation.

Reference: GO Ms No. 17, School Education (P.E – Prog.II) Department, Dated: 17.05.2014: All the RJDSEs and DEOs in the State are hereby informed that, as a part of curriculum and evaluation reforms all the textbooks from classes I to X have been revised along with undertaking examination reforms vide reference cited.
Accordingly, the school timetable and weightages to subjects for both curricular and co-curricular activities have been revised. Further, certain changes have been made in the Cumulative Records from classes IV to X. Now, the focus is on the implementation of revised textbooks and in this regard certain resources have been identified for effective implementation of new textbooks and for improved classroom transaction. Training to High School Head Masters on Curricular and Examination Reforms
Curricular and Examination Reforms Certain instructions: Following are the further instructions for the effective implementation of curriculum and evaluation reforms. A. Cumulative Record (Progress Card) and subject-wise marks/ grade record for teachers: The existing Cumulative Record have been revised based on the government orders on examination reforms vide reference cited. The assessment procedures will be same from classes VI to X from this academic year of 2014-15.
The Cumulative Record will reflect the subject specific grades for communication to the parents. Further, subject specific proforma to enter the marks and grades have been developed so that the subject teacher maintains the formative and summative examination marks and grades and post the grades in the Cumulative Record.
Now, the revised Cumulative Record for children and subject specific proforma for teachers to enter the marks and grades are enclosed. A request was made to the SPD, SSA to take up the printing of Cumulative Records and subjectwise proforma for entering marks and grades and supply to the schools through DEO.
The DEOs are requested to communicate the proforma of Cumulative Record and proforma for subject-wise recording of marks and grades to the private school managements.
The DEOs are requested to communicate these proformas to all the Head Masters of high schools and to the management of private schools for taking necessary action.
B. Subject specific resource/ TLM for effective implementation of revised textbooks: The subject editors and textbook writers have developed appropriate required teaching learning material and resource books, Science/ Maths material for effective implementation of new textbooks. The list is enclosed.
Now, the list of subject-wise resources is now enclosed herewith. The DEOs are requested to communicate the list of subject-wise resources which are enclosed to all the Head Masters of high schools to procure the same duly utilizing the amount under RMSA and SSA grants/ funds available in the schools.
In this regard, the Head Master must convene a staff meeting and take staff resolution for the procurement of the items based on the list as indented by the subject teachers in the school. This process must be transparent and staff resolution on the procurement of the items and nature of procurement is a must and recorded.
The Stock and Issue Register must be maintained to all the resources/ material proposed to be procured now and for earlier purchases. The subject-wise teachers shall be the In-charges for the procurement and items in their subject and for maintaining Stock and Issue Registers.
The DEOs are requested to communicate the list of resources and instructions on procurement with staff resolutions and discussion in the staff meeting duly utilizing the available grants from RMSA/ SSA. It is also requested that the list of resources which are suggestive may be communicated to all the private school managements for effective implementation of new curriculum.
C. Instructions in framing timetable and distribution of co-curricular activities: As requested by the Head Masters a model timetable based on new schools timings have been developed by the SCERT duly reflecting the weightages to curricular and co-curricular subjects. Now, the same is enclosed with a request to communicate the same to all the Head Masters of high schools i.e. both government and private managements.
Therefore, all the DEOs are requested to communicate the above to all the Dy.EOs and Head Masters of high schools of all types in the government management i.e. general, residential, tribal institutions. It is also requested that the same may be communicated to the private school managements for the implementation.
The Dy.EOs shall be made responsible for the strict and effective implementation of above things in all types of schools both government and private in their Division. The DEOs shall monitor this as a part of their school visits and inspections.
The RJDSEs are requested to review this with DEOs and Dy.EOs in the Districts and monitor in the school and furnish a report to the Commissioner & Director of School Education.
The Director, SCERT is requested to take necessary steps for effective implementation of above and monitor the same and submit implementation reports from time to time to the C&DSE.
