ISRO Young Scientist Programme Result 2022 declared released on its YUVIKA Webpage of ISRO. Students who have applied for the YUVIK stream they can check details and download the list of Provisionally Selected Candidates from the official website – isro.gov.in

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has released the YUVIKA list of provisionally selected candidates for the ISRO Young Scientist Programme 2020 on its official website. Students who have registered in the registrations drive can check the list online at isro.gov.in.

According to the details published in the list, the final selection list of 113 students (including OCI) will be published after the verification of relevant certificates.

Details of YUVIKA Result

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is organising a special programme for school children called “YUva VIgyani KAryakram” (YUVIKA) or “Young Scientist Programme” to impart basic knowledge on space technology, space science and space applications to young students, especially for those from rural areas.

  • The programme aims to select 150 students across the country, who are studying in Class 11 as on March 1, 2022 in a school located within the territory of India
  • The selection of participants will be on the basis of a few parameters, including marks obtained in Class 8 examination, and participation in science fairs (school/district/state and above level) organised by the school/district/ state/Central government authority in the last three years.
  • The programme is aimed at creating awareness about the emerging trends in science and technology amongst the youngsters, who are the “future building blocks of our nation”, according to the Bengaluru-headquartered space agency.
  • The programme is also expected to encourage more students to pursue science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) based careers and research work.

The YUVIKA 2022 residential programme will run for two weeks from May 16 to May 28. The schedule will include talks, experience-sharing by eminent scientists, experimental demonstration, facility and lab visits, exclusive sessions for discussions with experts, practical and feedback sessions.

The programme is planned to be held at five ISRO centres – Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram; U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru; Space Application Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad; National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC), Hyderabad and North-East Space Application Centre (NE-SAC), Shillong.

According to the official notification, The provisionally selected candidates are requested to upload the pdf copy of 8th Standard marks card and other relevant certificates by login in the Yuvika portal in ISRO official website from March 16, 2020, onwards. The link for uploading the certificates will be available in ISRO website from March 16 (17:00 Hrs) onwards. The last date for uploading the certificates is on March 26 (18:00 Hrs).

How to check the ISRO Young Scientist Programme result?

The Indian Space Research Organisation will release the ISRO would release the Young Scientist Programme result very soon after completion of registration process. Eligible students who were registered for YUVIKA programme can check details and download the result from the official official website, https://www.isro.gov.in/. Students can follow the below given steps for checking the YUVIKA result.

  1. Visit the isro.gov.in Website

    Students who are eligible needs to visit the official website: https://www.isro.gov.in/ in your device browser.

  2. Click on YUVIKA Link

    Once you reach the official website, you can search for the Young Scientist Programme, YUVIKA Link in the Updates section on the home page.

  3. Click on the Selection List Link

    After clicking on the link, YUVIKA web page will appear in your device and check the details carefully. Now, click on the Young Scientist Programme Provisional Selection List Announced link or 'YUVIKA Provisional Selection List Announced' link.

  4. Check You Result

    After clicking on that link, the candidates' YUVIKA Provisional Selection list in the pdf format will appear on the display screen. Now, you check you result through this PDF file.

  5. Download the Form

    Your name is in the provisional list, you can download the list and take its print out for future use.
