JNV Class 11 Selection list 2021 or Navodaya Class 11 Selection list 2021 would be released by the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti on its official website, navodaya.gov.in. Students who have registered for NVS Class 11 admission can check details and download the selection list result from the admission web portal.

NVS Class 11 Selection list Result 2021 would be released on its Navodya Web Portal after completion of application process. Students who have applied for this admission stream they can download result from the official website.

NVS will upload the state wise list of selected candidates for Class 11 Admissions on the admission web portal. Candidates may download the class 11 lateral entry result and check your name in this PDF file using Cntrl + F command when you are opening it.

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti invites the application forms from the eligible students for admission to Class 11 against the vacant seats likely to be available in JNVs during this academic year. How to Check Navodaya Class 11 Selection list Result?

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti would release NVS Class 11 Selection list Result on its official website https://navodaya.gov.in, Students who registered for the Class 11 Admission can download the Selection list from the Official web portal. Student may follow the below given simple steps to check the Selection list results.

  1. Visit the navodaya.gov.in website

    Students who have applied for the NVS Class 11 admission may visit the official website by entering web address navodaya.gov.in in your device browser and press enter button. Then, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti official website will be appeared in your device screen.

  2. Click on NVS Class 11 Admission Link

    Once you reach the Navodaya official website, you can search for the NVS Class 11 Admission link at the home page and click on it. Then Class 11 lateral entry admission web portal appeared in your device.

  3. Click on the Provisional Selection Link

    On the NVS class 11 Admission web portal, click on the 'Provisional Selection List' Link. Then, regions wise NVS class 11 selection list web page will be appeared in your device.

  4. Click on the region link

    In this region wise provisional selection list web page, click on the your region link you have applied for. Your region NVS class 11 Provisional Selection List Result pdf will be opened in your device.

  5. Check Your Name

    Open the selection list PDF file, check your name and details with the help of search bar and take a print out of it for future reference.

Select list of students for admission to Class XI through Lateral entry against vacant seats has been released. The parents/guardians of selected students may take the following steps for admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya:

  • Formats for submission of details may be downloaded.
  • Filled in formats are to be submitted to the Principal of JNV concerned as per schedule.
  • Certificates from the competent authority in respect of Rural, OBC, SC, ST and Disability as applicable are to be submitted to the JNV for verification of documents / eligibility to confirm admission to Class XI. 

After verification, JNVs will confirm the admission, if the candidate found eligible as per NVS norms.

It is informed that admission will be given to the selected candidates only after due verification of the documents. Parents are advised not to take TC from the previous school until the admission is confirmed by the JNV. Admission to JNVs is done free of cost.

No fee is to be paid to school authority for admission to Class- XI. The parents/students are required to approach directly the Principal of the JNV concerned.

Admissions to class XI in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas against available Vacancies will be done. Eligibility for admission is  Class X pass from a recognized school (affiliated to CBSE or any other State Education Board) of the district where JNV is located.

Admission will be confirmed on District-merit basis of  the concerned JNV. Unfilled vacancies if any available in the District will be filled through state merit subsequently,  if opted by the candidates.  For further details, kindly refer NVS, RO, Hyderabad website: navodayahyd.gov.in.

JNVS Objectives: The main objectives of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti as set forth in the Memorandum of Association are:

1. To provide good quality modern education including a strong component of culture, inculcation of values, awareness of the environment, adventure activities and physical education to the talented children predominantly from the rural areas, without regard to their family’s socio-economic condition.

2. To ensure that all students of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti attain a reasonable level of competence in three languages as envisaged in Three Language Formula; and

3. To serve, in each district, as focal point for improvement in the quality of school education in general, through sharing of experiences and facilities.

Navodaya Salient Features:

  • Good quality modern education for talented children predominantly from rural areas.
  • Candidates – Rural, at least 75% Urban, utmost 25%.
  • Reservation of seats for students from SC/ST categories in proportion to their population in the district subject to the national minimum.
  • Reservation of seats for girls – 33%.
  • Co-educational and fully residential, up to Class-XII.
  • Location – usually in rural areas. One the basis of offer of cost free land and rent free temporary buildings by State/UT Governments.
  • Free education including boarding and lodging as well as expenses on Uniforms, Text Books, and Stationery etc.
  • Affiliated to CBSE.
  • Admission is Class-VI only through objective type test designed and conducted by CBSE in the concerned district.
  • Implementation of Three-Language Formula.
  • Regional languages as medium of instruction for first three years. Hindi/English afterwards.
  • 30% of students in Class-XI from a Vidyalaya located in one linguistic area spend one academic year in a Vidyalaya in a different linguistic region to promote national integration through understanding of the diversity and plurality of country’s cultures and people.
  • Admission will be made on the basis of performance of students in Class X Board Examinations certificate by CBSE / State Education Board.

The Principal of the concerned JNV shall work out vacancies in various streams of Class-XI immediately on receipt of CBSE result in respect of this Vidyalaya. The vacant seats available in each JNV will be notified in local newspaper by the concerned JNV.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students seeking admission to Class XI shall be within the age limit up to 14-18 years as on 1st July.
  • The candidate must have passed Class X from a recognized school (affiliated to CBSE or any other State Education Board) of the district where the JNV is located.
  • The merit list will be prepared as per marks obtained by the applicant in Class X Board Exam and the admission will be given as per eligibility of candidate and the seats available in the JNVs concerned.
  • A common merit list will be prepared against all the existing vacancies at State level for admission to Class XI based on available vacancies from the district/nearby districts JNVs.
  • Applicants must indicate his/her preference for admission in various JNVs in the State in which he/she is residing in his/her application form.
  • Selected candidates from the District will be admitted in concerned JNV to the extent of available vacancies.
  • For remaining candidates allocation of JNV will be made based on the list of available vacancies and preferences given by the candidates.
  • The candidates must have reasonable competency in English and Hindi.

Scheme of Studies: Streams available in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas will be allotted to students as per the criteria decided by the Samiti for allocation of streams to existing students joining Class-XI .

Relaxation of marks for admission to Science/Commerce Streams in Class-XI: It may be ensured that weightage is given to the eligible Sports/NCC/Scout/Guide students for admission to various streams in Class-XI in accordance with the criteria decided by the Samiti.

About JNVS: As envisaged in National Policy of Education (NEP), 1986, Govt. of India has set up co-educational, fully residential institutions named Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in 34 State / UTs excluding Tamil Nadu. At present 598 such Vidyalayas have been sanctioned, one in each district.

    I am Mohini Kishor Tayade and I scored 92%in 10th board . I have also applied for 11th admission in JNV. Sir please tell if I will get seat or not ?

    • Present, NVS officials are not responding when we are contacting. I think national entrance exams are going in India. Staff would be allotted.
      Result web page has been created but not upload the result. Result would be released soon on its web portal

    when will the results be declared ? I have scored 92 percent in 10th board and I have applied for admission in 11th in JNV. Sir now I am very concerned about my further study . Because I am not getting results and what if I not get selected in JNV. What about my study. I thought results will be declare soon and if I didn’t get admission I would take admission in another school but results are not declare till now. I am very tensed. Sir please tell me when it will be declared.And sir what do you think will I get admission??

  7. Sir I have applied for Karimnagar District Navodaya class XI, I have cleared my 10th with 10GPA and I haven’t any or person is selected from Karimnagar district. Can I know the reason.
