Navodaya 6th Class Admission 2024
Navodaya 6th Class Admission 2024 in JNVs is made through the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) to Class VI.
The medium of instruction in JNVs is the mother tongue or regional language up to Class VIII and English thereafter for Maths and Science and Hindi for Social Science.
Students of the JNVs appear for X and XII class examinations of the Central Board of Secondary Education. While education in the schools is free including board & lodging, uniform and textbooks, a sum of Rs.600/- per month is collected from the students of Classes IX to XII only towards Vidyalaya Vikas Nidhi.
Students belonging to SC/ST categories, Girl students and the students whose family income is below poverty line (BPL) are exempted. Rs.1500/- per student per month is collected from all students whose parents are Govt. Employees.
JNVST Exam Pattern 2024
JNVST Exam 2024 consists of three sections: Mental Ability, Arithmetic, and Language Test. The test is conducted in an offline mode (pen and paper-based) and comprises objective-type questions. The duration of the exam is two hours.
- The selection test will be of two-hour duration from 11:30 am to 01:30 pm and will have 3 sections with only objective type questions.
- There are 80 questions in all for 100 marks.
- 15 Minutes additional time is allowed for reading the instructions.

Payment of Online Fee

I am the father whose my son applied for entrance exam 2020-2021 but due covid19 the exam which was fixed to be held on 11th of April 2020 not conducted. The same exam was conducted on the 7th November 2020 with only two weeks notice, so we are staying in every remote area where network is very poor and it is difficult to access network, from school where he is studying also mo no information but if the authority give time one month we will be able to gather information so we can send our son and due to this urgency conducting of entrance exam without thinking the poor people who are staying in the very remote area, our son lost this opportunity. Now request the authority to conduct one more entrance for those who didn’t get information about the conduct of exam or please select the candidate who are under BPL.
