The KEA has released the Karnataka PGCET Application Form 2025 or Karnataka PGCET Registration 2025 of the Karnataka Postgraduate Common Entrance Test.
Eligible students can submit application forms online for the KARPGCET exam for admission into MBA, MCA, ME, MTech, and MArch courses.

Candidates must first register online at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea and pay fees using a debit card, credit card or net banking. Karnataka PGCET exam will be held as per the time table.
Karnataka PGCET is being held for admission to the first year, first semester full-time and part-time MBA, MCA, ME, MTech and MArch courses in the state of Karnataka.
Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria
Before setting sail on your PGCET journey, meeting the eligibility criteria set by KEA is essential. To be eligible to apply for Karnataka PGCET 2025, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of India.
- Have passed a bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or architecture from a recognized university or institute.
- Have a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the bachelor’s degree.
- Have a valid score in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or any other equivalent exam.
Karnataka PGCET Application Fee
Submit the necessary fees as follows: Rs. 650/- for General and OBC candidates per course, and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST and Category-1 candidates from Karnataka per course.
How to submit Karnataka PGCET application form?
KEA has released Karnataka PGCET Online Application form on its official website, https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/.
Eligible candidates may apply for the PGCET Examination with the required information. To submit the online application form, candidates may follow the given simple steps.
- The candidate has to visit the website http://kea.kar.nic.in. To do this, open any browser, enter http://kea.kar.nic.in in the address bar, and hit Enter. The KEA website will then be displayed on the screen.
- After successfully entering the website address, candidates go to the ‘Latest Announcement’ section on the homepage.
- Click on the “Online Application 2025 for MBA, MCA, Mtech/March link” on the latest announcement on the KEA website’s home page. The candidate will be directed to the PGCET 2025 Online Application Login page.
- After login in the application, enter the all the required details and complete the registration process.
- Entre registered credentials to log in again.
- Fill the application form with the required details and documents.
- Pay the application fee through an online payment mode.
- Take a print of the form for any future reference.
Karnataka PGCET Exam Pattern
The Karnataka PGCET 2025 will be a computer-based test (CBT) held in two sessions on September 9 and 10, 2025. The exam will be conducted in English and Kannada.
The entrance exam will be held for a total of 100 marks. As per the official notification, it will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode.
The exam will consist of two sections:
- Section 1: General Aptitude (GA)
- Section 2: Subject-specific
The GA section will test the candidate’s knowledge of English, quantitative aptitude, and logical reasoning. The subject-specific section will test the candidate’s knowledge of the relevant subject.
However, the exam pattern and criteria for allocating marks will vary from subject to subject.
The Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test 2025 is being conducted to determine the eligibility / merit, for admission of Karnataka and non-Karnataka candidates to 1st year / 1st semester full time / part time MBA / MCA / M.E. / M. Tech. / M. Arch courses in Government / University / Private Aided / Private Un-Aided professional educational institutions in the state of Karnataka which will be notified by the Government of Karnataka for the year 2025.
