Kerala SET Admit card 2025. The Lal Bahadur Shastri Centre , Trivandrum, will release the Kerala State Eligibility Test admit card on its official website.

The Kerala State Eligibility Test, or Kerala SET, is a mandatory requirement for appointment as a higher secondary school teacher in the state.
The LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, conducts the SET using the syllabus approved by the Board of Examinations.
The exam covers 31 subjects. KSET has two papers: Paper 1 is common to all, and Paper 2 is based on the subject of specialization of the candidate at the postgraduate level.
The pass mark in the exam is 48 marks. Candidates belonging to OBC (noncreamy layer) must secure a minimum of 45 marks to pass, and candidates belonging to differently-abled, SC, and ST categories must secure 40 marks to pass.

The answer keys for all subjects will be published on the LBS Centre’s official websites immediately after the examination.
Candidates’ complaints, if any, regarding the answer keys may be sent to the Director, LBS Centre, in writing within five calendar days from the date the keys were published.

Candidates may follow the simple steps below to download the admission ticket.
- Candidates can visit Kerala SET’s official website by entering the web address http://lbsedp.lbscentre.in in their device browser and pressing the enter button.
- Then, KSET – Kerala State Eligibility Test web portal will be displayed in your device.
- When you reach the Kerala SET website, click on the ‘Admit card’ link in the study info drop-down list.
- Then, the Hall Ticket download web page will appear on your device.
- Clicking on the ‘Hall Ticket’ link will open another web page on your device. Enter your credentials and log in.
- Once you reach the hall ticket downloading web page, you can click on the hall ticket download link. The link will then open in your browser.
- After downloading the hall ticket, you can check your details in this admit card. If you find any errors, you may contact the help desk.
Important Guidelines
Now, with the Kerala SET exam date of 2025 in hand, it is time to examine the exam day guidelines that must be followed for the smooth conduct of the examination.
In addition, some preparation tips can also be helpful at present. Before that, let’s take a look at the important guidelines.
Every candidate must be present at the examination hall at least thirty (30) minutes before the exam commences. The prescribed time can also be checked from the admit cards.
Candidates will be given question booklets, which will basically be the question paper. The front page will contain the booklet numbers along with the versions (A or B). Hence, candidates must mark the booklet number and version on the OMR sheet carefully.
Calculators, mobile phones, and any other electrical equipment are not permitted inside the Kerala SET 2025 examination hall.
Candidates have to do all sorts of rough work or calculations on the blank sheet provided inside the question booklet. They must also follow the instructions carefully as mentioned in the admit cards.
Examinees should also carry valid ID proof that must be produced to get entry. In the absence of the hall ticket, the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
Kerala SET Exam Pattern
There shall be two papers for the SET- JANUARY – 2025.
a) Paper I:
Paper 1 is common for all candidates. It consists of two parts, Part (A) General Knowledge and Part (B) Aptitude in Teaching.
There will be 120 questions for Paper I, 60 questions each for Part A and Part B. Each question will carry one mark.
b) Paper II
Paper 2 shall be a test on the subject of specialisation of the candidate at the Postgraduate (PG) Level.
There shall be 120 questions carrying one mark each for the subjects under Paper II except for Mathematics and Statistics. Only 80 questions carrying 1.5 marks each shall be for Mathematics and Statistics.
Note: The Test duration shall be 120 minutes for each paper.
Marking Scheme
For each correct response, the candidates will be awarded 1 mark in both the Papers except for Mathematics and Statistics, for which each correct response will be awarded 1.5 marks. Marking more than one response against a question shall be deemed as an incorrect answer. No marks shall be deducted for incorrect answers.
