Medical Counselling Committee, MCC which is charged with National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET UG Counselling 2022 for 15% All India Quota was expected to release the First Round Results as per the new counselling schedule after completion of seat allotment processing.
MCC to release NEET UG first round counselling seat allocation result 2021 at medical counseling web portal, https://www.mcc.nic.in. The Medical Counseling Committee is expected to release the first round seat allocation result for NEET UG Counselling 2021.
The registration process for the first round of counselling was completed. The registration for second round of counselling will begin. After the second round of counselling for All India Quota seats, the students who take admission in All India Quota seats should not be allowed/permitted to vacate the seats.
Therefore, the candidates are advised to take a calculated decision of continuing in Second round of AIQ/Deemed/Central Universities as they would not be permitted to resign from 2nd round of AIQ/Deemed/Central Universities. They will also not be allowed to participate in any Counselling after joining in Second Round of AIQ.
NEET UG first round counselling: It has been decided by MCC that the earlier eligibility criteria of 15% AIQ wherein total candidates called for Counselling were five times the number of seats available for allotment were (as being done previously) has been abolished. All candidates will be eligible till exhaustion of seats.

The 15% seats surrendered by Government Medical/Dental Colleges run as per the approval of MCI/DCI are filled through the counselling conducted by DGHS are known as All India Quota seats. The merit list of the eligible and successful candidates who have opted for 15% All India quota seats has been prepared by the NTA on the basis of marks obtained in the NEET (UG).
The list of successful candidates has also been forwarded to the Directorate General of Health Services (Medical Examination Cell), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India for the purpose of allotment of seats by Online Counselling to 15% All India Quota Seats
NEET UG Counselling: Candidates are informed that the all the NEET Under Graduate (MBBS/BDS) counseling for All India Quota seats/ Institutional Quota/ Domicile (internal candidates) of Central Universities (Aligarh Muslim University/ Banaras Hindu University/ University of Delhi/Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi), (wards of ESIC insured persons) seats of colleges under Employee State Insurance Corporation and Armed Forces Medical College, Pune for the Under graduate session 2020-20 is being conducted by Medical Counseling Committee/ Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
Steps to be followed in NEET UG Seat Allotment Result
- Main Counseling Registration including payment
- Exercising of Choices and Locking of choices
- Process of Seat Allotment – 1st Round
- Round 1 Result Publication
- Reporting at the allotted Medical/Dental College against 1st Round (free entry/exit option available).
- Publication of net vacant seats
- Registration & Fresh Choice submission by eligible candidates for 2nd Round (not required by already registered candidates).
- Process of Seat Allotment – 2nd Round (exit with forfeiture of security amount option available).
- Round 2 Result Publication
- Reporting at the Medical / Dental Colleges /Institutions against 2nd Round (candidates once joined the allotted seat against 2nd Round are not allowed to vacate the seat).
As per the notification released on the official website, candidates who had applied for the NEET UG Counselling are required to close or ‘lock’ their choices. Initially the results for the first round allotment were expected to be released.
MCC, the counselling committee will release the results of first round of allotment. After the reporting, the candidates would get about 5 to 6 days to report to the colleges to claim the admission and the medical or dental seat i.e. Candidates should report to allotted college as per the schedule.
The candidates who have got seat allotted in the first round seat allotment need to report at the respective reporting centres. The last date to report for NEET counselling see the schedule. Candidates can register for the second round of NEET counselling and Candidates can lock their choices as per the schedule. The processing of second round of seat allotment will be on notified date.

The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) would release the first round seat allotment result for NEET counseling on its official website, mcc.nic.in. The candidates who have applied for the MBBS admission through 15% All India Quota can visit the official website of MCC- medicalcounseling.nic.in- to check and download their results.

NEET UG qualified candidates who have given options on online can visit the official website, https://mcc.nic.in in your device browser.
- Click on Seat Allotment Result
Once you reach the official website, click on the given link that says, View Seat Allotment Results of Round 1.
- Enter Login Details
After clicking on the result link, a new web page will appear. Now, enter all the details asked like NEET UG application number, password.
- Click on Submit
After entering the login details on the web page, click on the submit button.
- Download the Seat Allotment
After clicking on the submit button, the seat allotment result will be displayed on the screen. Check your results.
- Print the Seat Allotment
After checking your result, download it for future reference.
- Report to the college
Once you allotted the particular college, you need to report to the college with required documents as per the time schedule.
