Order:

1. The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the State is invited to the reference 2nd read above and they are informed that, a two day training programme was organised on 2nd & 3rd July, 2015 at Ananthapur.

2. Further they are informed that, the Curator, VITM, Bangalore informed that, this year’s Science Seminar topic is “Harnessing Light: Possibilities & Challenges” and National Level Science Seminar will be held on 8th October, 2015 at National Science Centre„ Near Gate No.1, Pragathi Maidan, New Delhi

1. And requested to organise School level, Mandal Level, District Level, State Level Science Seminars on the given topic and furnish list of winners of the State Level Science Seminar to participate in the National Level Science  Seminar on 8th October, 2015.
2. District level Science Drama Contest theme: “Science & Society”
   In view of the above, they are therefore requested to organise District level Science Drama Contest on or before 30th September, 2015 on given themes ie., “Science & Society”.

Sub-themes:The sub-themes are as follows:

1. Life and works of Scientists
2. Light and Life
3. Save our soil
4. Innovate or perish
5. Science in Daily Life
6. Cleanliness and Health
7. State Level Science Drama-2015
   Further, they are informed that the State Level Science Drama 2015 will be organized on 6th & 7th October 2015.
8. District Level Science Seminars TOPIC: “Harnessing Light: Possibilities & Challenges”  Further, they are requested to organize District Level Science Seminars on the given topic ie., “Harnessing Light: Possibilities & Challenges” on or before 15th September 2015 and furnish 151 and 2nd prize winners immediately to participate in the State Science Seminar 2015. 7 .No budget is available to organise the above two events. The State Level Science Seminar  will be organised in the last week of September, 2015.
