NIMS PG Paramedical Diploma Admission 2023, Apply Online for NIMSET PGD at ‘nims.edu.in’

NIMS PG Paramedical Diploma Admission 2023 notification has been released by the NIMS, Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences for fill up vacant seats fill up vacant seats for admission into Paramedical Post Graduate Diploma Courses for the year 2023.

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates of Telangana State for admission into Paramedical PG Diploma Courses through NIMSET (NIMS Entrance Test for PGD Admission). The candidates can visit the website: www.nims.edu.in for online application submission, prospectus and also for any updates.

The online and hard copy of online application shall be submitted along with supporting documents as detailed in prospectus in person or by post (preferably by India postal services) so as to reach the Associate Dean, Academic-2, 2nd floor, Old OPD Block, NIMS, Punjagutta, Hyderabad-500082, Telangana before 5.00 PM of 30 Jan and 01 Feb respectively.

Age Limit: The minimum age for admission shall be 20 years completed and should not be more than 30 years as on 31st December. Upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years in the case of SC & ST candidates.

NIMCET Hall Ticket 2023: NIMS Entrance Test (NIMCET) shall be conducted at the venue, date and time specified by the Institute in hall ticket. Hall tickets needs to be downloaded from NIMS website while login with registration number and password on the prescribed date.

NIMS Entrance Test (NIMCET) Details: The selection shall be based on entrance examination consisting of 60 multiple choice questions (MCQs). The duration of the examination will be one hour. The medium of examination is in English. The distribution of the MCQs are as under: Biological Sciences – 20 marks Physical Sciences – 20 marks Community Medicine, Bio-statistics, Computer Sciences} General Knowledge and English }- 20 marks

The syllabus for entrance test shall be that degree standard of the Universities of Telangana State. The candidates shall qualify themselves therein, by securing 50% marks in case of OCs & BCs and 40% of marks for the candidates belonging to the category of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe.

Selection Method: The selection shall be based on the performance of the candidates at the NIMS Entrance test. Candidates shall be ranked in the order of merit based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination. In case of tie, marks obtained in Biological Sciences, in case of further tie, marks obtained in Physical Sciences in the entrance examination shall be taken into consideration. Further tie, candidate elder in age will be placed higher in the merit list.

The marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance examination and the names of candidates qualified for counselling will be displayed at NIMS website: www.nims.edu.in on the date notified. In case the candidate fails to report for counselling he/she forfeits the right to admission.

The statutory reservation rules as prescribed and the distribution of seats among un-reserved and local candidates will be followed during counselling. Candidates have to report for counselling in person along with all original documents. They should sign in the attendance register within the stipulated time failing which he/she shall not be permitted to attend counselling and forfeits the right to admission.

The candidates recommended for provisional admission are required to submit all original certificates and to pay an amount of Rs.20,800/- (Rupees twenty thousand eight hundred only) towards tuition and other fee immediately. The tuition and other fee will be refunded to the candidates who are medically unfit at the time of admission after deducting the medical examination fee of Rs.3500/- (Rupees three thousand and five hundred only) and for other candidates, tuition and other fee shall not be refunded.

In case the candidate does not, for any reason, report for admission before the specified date he/she will forfeit the seat and tuition and other fee. The counselling procedure.

For in-service candidates who are pursuing studies and who cannot deposit the original certificates at the time of counselling have to bring Xerox copies of the original certificates duly attested by the controlling authorities of the institution.

They shall also produce a certificate from the institution that they have no objection to the candidate’s admission to the post graduate diploma courses and in the event of selection of the candidate to the course he/she shall be relieved immediately. Failure to submit the original certificates shall render the candidates being ineligible for admission.

No request for postponing the date of counselling or request to appear at an earlier date shall be entertained. In case, a candidate fails to report for counselling at the date and time specified, he/she forfeits the right to admission and the seat shall be offered to the next candidate in the merit list. 6. Counselling letters needs to be downloaded from NIMS website while login with registration number and password. The NIMS is not responsible for non-obtaining web based counselling letter and no correspondence in any other manner will be made.

The candidates called for the counselling shall come prepared to overstay for one more day beyond the date of counselling in case it is required. A candidate once chosen a subject at the counselling, change of subject is not permitted even with mutual exchange also.

All those candidates who are selected for admission have to undergo medical examination. After medical fitness is cleared, the candidate shall be submitted bond on the date and time specified. Failure to submit the required certificates, bond or pay the fee shall render the candidate forfeit the seat and such seat shall be allotted to the next candidate in the merit list.
