The Director of Open School Society, Andhra Pradesh has issued a proceeding copy of Rc.2038 APOSS Preservation of Earned Leave for employees for whose employees are involved in SSC and Intermediate of APOSS Public examination in summer vacation.
The District Educational Officers in the State are informed to take necessary action for preservation of earned leave for employees. In this article we are providing full details of Proceeding Rc.No 2018.

All the DEO’s in the State are informed that SSC and Intermediate (APOSS) Examinations April/May 2013 have been conducted during summer vacation. The services of certain and non-teaching staff from Govt./ZP/Aided school have been utilized for conduct of the said examinations.
In this connection, while enclosing the above Govt.orders in the reference cited all the District Educational Officers in the State are informed to take necessary action for preservation of earned leave for the staff whose services have been utilized in conduct of SSC and Intermediate (APOSS) examinations April/May 2013 as per rules and procedure adopted for regular SSC Examintaion conducted by Director of Govt. Examinations A.P., Hyderabad.
APOSS Programme:
Government of Andhra Pradesh revamped the open school system in the year 2008 and started Open Basic Education Programme of A, B and C levels equivalent to III, V and VIII classes of formal system apat from SSC programme to the 14+ age group learners in open and distance learning mode.
The Intermediate programme was started in the year 2010 under open and distance learning mode to the SSC passed learners of 15+ age.The Pass certificates issued by APOSS are eligible for Higher Education and Employment.
