AP School Summer Holidays 2022: Andhra Pradesh State government has announced summer holidays for AP schools from May 06 to July 3, 2022. All the schools were given holidays from 06-05-2022 to 3-07-2022. The reopening day of schools is July 4. The last working day of the academic year 2021-22 is May 6.
Andhra Pradesh School Education Department has announced summer vacation from May 6 to July 3 for Classes 1 to 10 for all schools functioning under all managements for the Academic Year 2021-22 and certain instructions have been issued on AP School Summer Vacation 2022.

- Schools in Andhra Pradesh State would be closed for summer vacation from May 6.
- The 2022-23 academic year would commence with the re-opening of schools on July 4.
- All examinations in the 2021-22 academic year would be complete by May 4 and
- the baseline assessment of English on the May 5th.
Schools under all managements would operate till May 20 for the teachers to complete evaluation of summative assessment examinations and take up admissions for the next year. An academic calendar with 188 working days was fixed for the year. The summative assessment (year-end) examinations commenced on April 22 and would conclude on May 4.
Further, the Director, SCERT is requested to prepare a detailed academic calendar and the activities to be taken up for offline education for all classes from 04th July onwards. In case of SSC students, the headmasters concerned have to extend necessary academic support to the students as per the time schedule.
Further, the headmasters and staff of all government schools shall have to comply with the instructions issued by State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, Director, Mid Day Meal and Advisor, School Infra, related to Manabadi: Nadu Nedu, Jagananna Vidya Kanuka and Jagananna Vidya Kanuka, as instructed from time to time.
In view of the above, Govt of AP School Education Department has requested to all the Regional Joint Director of School Education and District Educational Officers in the State that issue necessary instructions to the field level functionaries and take necessary action in the matter accordingly.
