RGUKT Admission Notification 2019 has been announced by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies Officials on April 18th, 2019. RGUKT invites applications from eligible students for admission into the first year of 6-year integrated B.Tech Degree program for the year 2019 being offered at the university constituent institutes at Basar, Nuzvid and Idupalapaya. 5% supernumerary seats are also available for the students belonging to States other than AP including the Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries / International and NRI students.
About: The Government of Andhra Pradesh has established Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) in 2008 to provide high-quality engineering education to the meritorious rural youth of Andhra Pradesh. Three RGUKT campuses were started under the University, one each at Basar, Adilabad Dist; Nuzvid, Krishna Dist.; and Rajiv Knowledge Valley, Kadapa Dist.
RGUKT offers a 6- year Integrated B.Tech course in six engineering disciplines viz., Chemical, Civil, Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. Teaching and learning is ICT based and it is fully residential with separate hostel facilities for Girls and Boys. Every student is being provided with a laptop.
1. Regular students who passed SSC or its equivalent examination (10th class) held in 2019,
2. Age not more than 18 years as on 31.12.2019 (21 years in case of SC / ST candidates)
So, Students who passed their SSC or its equivalent exam under the State board, CBSE and ICSC in afresh in 2019 only are eligible.
How to Apply:
Applications can be made only by online, either through RGUKT website http://admissions2019.rgukt.in or APOnline In both cases from May 21, 2019 in the notification and the closing date for the receipt of applications June 16, 2019, a print copy of the submitted application along with original DD/SBH challan/State Bank collect E-receipt / APOnline receipt, and copies of the certificates should be sent to “The Registrar, RGUKT, Campus of IIIT-H, Gachibowli, HYDERABAD – 500 032” by speed post / registered post immediately. The application shall not be considered if the printed form along with registration fee and the required enclosures is not reached to RGUKT within the deadline. As per the admission procedure of RGUKT and as per the Presidential Order, admissions will be made based on the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade obtained in each subject by an applicant. A deprivation score of 0.4 GPA prescribed by the Government for the year 2019-15 under Statute 13 (3) of RGUKT Act, will be added to the GPA of SSC applicants from non-residential government schools including Zillaparishad and Municipal High Schools in Andhra Pradesh for selection. The existing rules of reservation of the state government are applicable and seats will be allocated as per Presidential order. To promote diversity and to encourage students studying in other states including children of Indian workers in Gulf countries, other countries, NRIs, 5% supernumerary seats are allocated to them and interested students may apply.
