Candidates who wish to claim reservation for admission in to RGUKT under BC/ SC/ ST/ EWS/ CAP/ NCC/ Sports/ PH category and local quota seats should produce the relevant original category certificates and study certificates (4th to10th class) /Migration certificate respectively at the time of certificate verification and counseling for admission.
If any candidate fails to produce the relevant certificates at the time of certificate verification and counseling is not eligible to get admission under reservation category and local quota seats.

0.4 Grade points: The results of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Science and Technology Joint Entrance Examination (RGUKT CET) conducted for admissions in IIITs and also admission into the two-year and three-year diploma courses in Agriculture, Veterinary and Horticulture were released on December 12.
Students will get admissions in IIITs based on the deprivation marks score in the exam as decided by the governing body of the RGUKT. 0.4 Grade points would be added under the backwardness index to give weightage to rural govt school students for IIIT (Indian Institutes of Information and Technology) admissions
The marks obtained by the students in the entrance examination will be converted into grade points and 0.4 points will be added for government school students. Cutoff marks by general and reservation and call letters will be sent to the qualified students very soon and counseling information will be provided. Full details will be made available on the RGUKT website.
EWS quota: Idupulapaya, Noojeedu, Ongole and Srikakulam IIITs have 4,000 seats. In addition to these, the seats will be increased by 10 per cent under the EWS quota. States other than AP and Telangana have 2 per cent seats under the NRI quota. These seats remain vacant each year.
Students with the highest marks in RGUKT CET: 165 students in AP and two students in Telangana scored more than 90 marks per hundred. In the two states together, 1,475 students got marks between 81-90 while 3,195 students got marks between 71-80.
