In continuance of the reference cited above, all the District Educational Officers and Project Officers of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan in the state are informed that the Government have decided to celebrate the Smt. Savitri Bhai Phule’s birthday in the state of Andhra Pradesh as she was the 151 Women Teacher in India.
In this regard the Government of Andhra Pradesh introduced State Awards for Women Teachers and decided to honour the best female Teachers who have rendered for their services, on the eve of her birthday on 3rd January, 2017.
In this regard the category wise best female teachers were selected to honour with Smt. Savitribhai Phule Award at Tirupati on 3rd January, 2017 at 5PM. The Venue:: S.V. Medical College Auditorium ( Dr. D.Krishna Murthy Auditorium), Alipiri Road, Tirupathi. The Hon’ble, HRD Minister Govt. Of A.P will be the Chief Guest and distribute the awards to the selected female teachers. (Category wise awardees list is enclosed to the Proc)
Further all the DEOs and POs of the SSA in the State are invited to the function and are also requested to communicate to the award winners as per the list enclosed to the Proceedings and depute them to Tirupathi on 3rd January, 2017 to participate and to receive the awards from The Hon’ble, HRD Minister, Government of AP.
