Special Universities for Teacher Education in AP for DEd, BEd, MEd, TPT, HPTand UPT etc., Courses: We are well-known about different types of schools like government schools, private schools, aided schools etc. Any school development depends on the teaching learning process(TLP), where this process being successfully carried out when teacher and students are completely involved.
But, today the situation is completely changed due to many reasons the education system is undergoing many complications. And now it is the time to make required changes to improve the quality of teacher education.
Recently higher authorities committee held a meeting and discussed on various problems which are leading to severe circumstances of education system. To demolish all the problems ,the primary step should be modifying colleges of teacher education.
As we already know that once up on a time, B.Ed is equal to local civils but later on due to imbalance of colleges and qualified students, there is a vast difference out put i.e.,qualitative education. Some colleges are giving certificates(degree) irrespective of their attendance, teaching practice, submission of records etc. only money will play dominating role. If such students are selected in D.SC how can we expect good results from them?
So as Tamilnadu govt introduced special universities for teacher education, In the same way Andhra Pradesh govt may introduce such universities to increase the quality in the education.
- D.Ed, B.Ed, M.Ed, Telugu, Hindi Pandit courses will be under teacher education.
- Sanctioning & Recognition of D.Ed, T.P.T courses colleges will be under control of A.P Education Department.
- B.Ed courses will be under control of universities.
- Filling of B category seats in private colleges should be accepted by higher education council.
- M.Ed courses will be under control of university.
There is no proper planning near T govt to approach National Council Teacher Education council for introducing required courses, sanctioning of related recognition for colleges.
To keep education system on track A.P govt focused on this special university.
All higher officials and educationalists discussed for 3 days and are busy to submit report on above mentioned and to get better results than Tamilnadu.
