The Commissioner and School Education Department officials have released the TS Model Schools Admission 2020 Notification in the month of January 2020 for admission into VI class and VII, VIII and IX (Vacant Seats) classes in Model Schools in TS for the academic year 2020-2021. The C and DSE TS and TSMS officials invite online applications from the eligible students for admission into model schools

The date for payment of fee and submission of online applications for TS Model Schools Admission Test April 2020 for admission to 6th Class is 29-02-2020 & for vacant seats in 7th to 10th Classes is 02.03.2020

The Model Schools Scheme is meant for catering to the needs of Educationally Backward Mandals to provide quality education on Kendriya Vidyalaya template. The GoI sanctioned Model Schools to Telangana State and established in Educationally Backward Mandals.

Model School Concept is basically the schools have infrastructure and facilities of the same standard as in KVS and with stipulations on pupil-teacher ratio, ICT usage, holistic educational environment, appropriate curriculum and emphasis on output and outcome. The medium of instructions in model schools totally in English.

All the students who domicile from the mandal or studied in the particular mandal in any recognized institution are excursively eligible for admission into the TS Model Schools. Each class will be having a sanctioned strength of 80 students. These institutions are co-educational and follow state syllabus with Telugu as the first language up to class X.

Eligibility for TS Model School Admissions 2020:

As per the new guidelines and Procedure contain in GO.Ms.No.17, Dated:11.02.2013 Model Schools in the Telangana State invites applications from the eligible students, those who were passed V class are eligible for applying for VI class into model schools for this academic year and those who were passed VI, VII and VIII classes are eligible for applying for VII, VIII and IX (Vacant Seats) classes into TS Model Schools. These admissions made into English medium.

1. Students studying in Telugu / English Medium are eligible to appear for the Entrance Test.
2. Parental Income should not exceed Rupees One Lakh per annum.
3. The candidates can apply to any TS Model School of the district for which he/she belongs.

How to Apply: Eligible Students can apply through online mode only at http://telanganams.cgg.gov.in and Candidates should take a print out the application form and they should submit to the concerned Telangana Model Schools.
