This year, TS Chekumuki Science Talent Test 2023 is a Science Fest would be conducted online mode at School, District and State Level. For the past 30 years, the Jana Vignana Vedika has been successfully organizing the TS Chekumuki Science Festival or TS Chekumuki Science Sambaralu in collaboration with teachers, staff of educational institutions, and parents of students.

Science Festivals have been organized to help students develop an interest in science, to unleash the creative energy hidden in them, to arouse scientific thinking and observation, to cultivate a scientific outlook, to grow as scientists, and to promote the study of science.

This year JVV is unable to conducting Offline (face to face mode) it due to COVID-19 conditions. So this time the Science Sambaralu are being held online in an alternative manner. The encouragement you give from the past is unforgettable. JVV wants your full support this year as well as in the past.

JVV and its team is hosting the TS Chekumuki Science Talent Test online at the school level (single stage) on February 20.

The district winners will be announced by the students who have secured first, second and third marks in Telugu & English medium classes in Govt & private schools across the district in this test.

Students who have secured the first three places in Government Telugu Medium, Government English Medium, Private Telugu Medium and Private English Medium categories. 12 students from 8th class, 12 students from 9th class, 12 students from 10th class. A total of 36 students will be announced as district winners.

Conducting science seminars with these 36 students live in the respective districts on the day of February 28th Science Day. Winners will be presented with certificates and prizes.

Online TS Chekumuki Science Talent Test 2023

In view of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, the Jana Vignana Vedika, Telangana plans to hold “Chekumuki Science Festival” through online mode for the 8th, 9th and 10th class students of Telangana in both Telugu and English media.

The Festival comprises of an online TS Chekumuki Science Talent Test on the notified date ( 60 minutes), prize/certificate distribution to top performers from each class on 28 Feb ( National Science Day) at respective District Head Quarters and popular lectures, demonstrations by eminent speakers / academicians/scientists.

Step 1: TS Chekumuki Science Talent Test Registration

  • First the students have to register online with their e-mail address. (Only one student with one e-mail can register & write the test).
  • The registration form includes instructions as well as sample questions.
  • Filling out the registration form will help the student to understand the online test.
  • Registration can be done at the following link.
  • Once the registration is complete the message will go to the student mail.
  • Check registration link: The registration link will be sent through Whatsgroup
  • Registration should be done as per the schedule.

Step 2: Write the Online Chekumuki Test

  • JVV will send the test link to you, the student’s mail, and the student’s WhatsApp number.
  • The link will open during the test.
  • The test should be written at that time.
  • You must submit at the scheduled time.
  • Only then will your answers be evaluated and the result (marks) come immediately.
  • If you do not submit within the stipulated time, your answers will not be evaluated. The result will not come. That means you will not write the test
  • The e-certificate will be mailed to the student immediately.

    All questions are in the objective format. For answering, choose the correct answer from the four options. One mark for each correct answer. No negative marks in this exam.

    At the secondary level there are questions on basic concepts in physical chemistry, biology, mathematics as well as science-society and science in everyday life.

Make the 22nd Chekumuki Science Sambuaralu a success: The most prestigious chekumuki science sambuaralu organized every year under the auspices of Jana Vignana Veedika will be held online this year. Registered students will be sent a link to the chekumuki Science Talent Test for their email id.

The exam will be held on 20 Feb from 5:30 pm to 6.45 pm. Students need to make sure that the data on their cell phones and laptops is correct. It is sufficient to submit the next forty questions in the examination paper after completion.

Thirty-six selected students in Telugu and English medium across the district will be given a certificate by conducting a seminar on Science Day on the 28th of this month. TS Chekumuki Science Talent Test at School, District and State Level. TS JVV Chekumuki Science Talent Test would be conducted at School, District and State Level under Chekumuki Science Sambaralu. School Level, District Level and State Level Chekumuki Science Talent Test would be conducted by the Telangana Jana Vignana Vedika. Chekumuki Science Festival (Chekumuki Science Sambaralu) will be conducted in all schools in Telangana State.

The science we can’t imagine our life without this. In such a way, we are bounded with Science. In day to day development of our world science plays a vital role. Without science, there are no inventions and without inventions, there is no development either it is economically or Medically.

If we observe, even today many are leaving their lives due to superstitions which are deeply involved in the country people/ villagers. To demolish such superstitions we have to educate them and make involve in some science programmes that which plays a dual role like to make them educate and they make their surrounding people educate like a family member.

To develop, to create interest among science to know the reasoning for every action of science in children. Many organizations are taking part like Jana Vignana Vedika. From the past 20 years, onward Chekumuki Tests have been organized by JVV among the children. It is the programme to create an interest in science and make them participate actively.

The JVV has been organizing various programmes to the Educational Institutions to improve the education standards of the standards of the students. In this programme the lakhs of students are participating actively.This programme is being attracted by not only the students but also the parents, school managements and intellectuals.

Request for seeking permission to conduct Chekumuki Science Sambaralu 2019: Jana Vignana Vedika (JVV), a voluntary science organization has been working for the past 29 years in our state to inculcate scientific temper among the masses in general and particularly among the students. On the name of this magazine, we have been conducting a massive school-based activity- Chekumuki Science Sambaralu for the past two decades. The main objective of this activity is to make science learning an easy and interesting work for both the students and the teachers.

Perhaps, this is the biggest school-based activity in our state where the participation of students in lakhs is ensured. Around 5.10 lakh students participated from all 31 districts of Telangana in this programme last year 2016.

We conduct this Chekumuki Science Sambaralu programme (TS Chekumuki Science Talent Test 2023) in four levels – School, Mandal, District and State. Students of 8, 9, 10 classes participate individually at the school level only and then onwards, a school team will be formed with the top one student of 8,9 &10 classes and this team represents the school in all higher levels. Encouraging the team spirit among the students is the reason behind this procedure.

The School and Mandal level tests will be in objective format, the District level will include Quiz round also and finally the State level test will incorporate Experiments along with Field Visit. All the questions will be based on the general science understanding of our surroundings only. We have chosen the topic ….. as the theme of this test in the lines of our Telangana State Governments prestigeous scheme, Mission Bhagiratha.

This is to bring your kind notice that your department has been giving support in all these years to this programme, without which we can’t organize alone. Hence we request you to kindly permit us this year also to organize this activity in the schools. So pleas issue the permission letter at the earliest.

School, District and State Level TS Chekumuki Science Talent Test 2023: The JNV is going to issue the School, District and State Level Chekumuki Science Test Notification in this regarding. The Jana Vignana Vedika, a National Award winning voluntary science organization, is actively involved, for nearly three decades, in popularization of science among masses and school children and inculcation of scientific temper among them.

As you know, our organization is holding every year, a mega science event, known as “chekumuki science festival” at school, mandal, district and finally at state levels which consists of several fun science activities including quizzes and tests to promote knowledge of science among school children.

This year, the school level Chekumuki Science Test will be conducted on 21 Nov Mandal level test on 05 Dec District level test on 15-12-2019 and finally, the state level festival on 25, 26 Dec at District Venu.

Through the proceedings of the Commissioner and Director of School Education, cited at Reference: Proceedings Rc.No.224; the Government of Telangana have given permission to hold this Festival and informed of all the District Educational Officers accordingly.

The Chekumuki Science Festival is very unique and has won the appreciation of all science teachers and academicians. The JVV would request to all the schools, kindly hold the School level Chekumuki Science Talent Test for students of 8th, 9th and 10th classes only on 21 Nov at your school in large members by collecting a nominal entry fee of Rs.5 per student.

General Instructions for Schools: The Test held separately and parallel for Telugu and English medium students. As per your requirement, JJVV hand over the question papers along with KEY in sealed covers to you one day before the Test

All 50 questions of the Test are of multiple choice type and 80 percent questions from the syllabus of 8th, 9th and 10th class science subjects and 20 percent are from general studies

Kindly evaluate the test papers with key supplied and depute the best student in each class and to form a 3-Members School Team in each medium(Telugu and English) to participate in the next level, i.e., Mandal Level to be held at Mandal Head Quarters on 05 Dec .

Best team in each medium from both Government and Private Schools, separately at the Mandal Level, will be selected to participate in the District Level Science Test to be held at the respective District Headquarters.

Best Team, to participate in the State Level Test, in each medium from both Govt. and Private Schools, separately will be deputed to participate in the State Level Science Festival to be held on 25, 26 December at District Venue. Fabulous Prizes and Participation Certificates will be given away for the teams
