Govt of Telangana issued instructions on TS Flag Day Fund Deduction. As per the GO.MS.No. 189 Dated: 10-11-2016, The Flag Day Fund Deduction should be recovered through Online mode only.
So, Deduction of contribution from the State Government Employees towards Flag Day Fund to be utilized for Welfare Schemes of Ex- servicemen every year from their salary of December payable in January.

1. G.O.Ms.No.83, Home (Ser.IV) Dept., dt.05.12.2015.
2. From the Director, Sainik Welfare, TS, Hyderabad, Letter.No.839/2014-B, dated: 03-11-2016.
ORDER: In G.O. 1st read above Government have issued orders enhancing the deduction from Rs.20/- to Rs.100/- per head from the Non-Gazetted Employees and from Rs.50/- to Rs.200/- per head from the Gazetted Officers of State Government employees every year from their salary of December payable in January, effective from December, 2015 as their contribution, towards Flag Day Fund to be utilized for Welfare Schemes of Ex- servicemen.
2. The Director, Sainik Welfare, TS, Hyderabad, in the reference 2nd read above, has requested the Government to issue the amendment to para – 3 of the above G.O., to receive the contributions through online so as to avoid delay in processing demand draft/cheque and inconvenience to all concerned.
3. Government after careful examination, hereby issues the following amendment to the orders issued in the G.O.Ms.No.83 Home (Ser.IV)Department, Dated:05-12-2015 :
Amendment
For the existing para – 3 of the G.O.Ms.No.83, Home (Ser.IV) Department, Dated: 05.12. 2015, the following para shall be substituted:
“3. All the Heads of Department, all Heads of Offices, Drawing and all Disbursing Officers are requested to recover the employees contribution towards the Flag Day Fund @ Rs.100/- from Non-Gazetted employees and @ Rs.200/- from the Gazetted Officers every year from their salary of December payable in January and remit the same into the following savings account of the “Director, Sainik Welfare, TS Hyderabad” through “ONLINE PAYMENT”. The particulars of account of Director, Sainik Welfare, TS Hyderabad is given below:-

ORDER: In the reference 3rd read above the Director Sainik Welfare, TS, Hyderabad has informed that as per the minutes of meeting with representatives of all employees and teachers association of Telangana State held on dated 04th December 2015, the representatives of all employees and teachers associations have unanimously agreed to enhance the contribution from Rs.20/- to Rs 100/- per head from the salaries of NGOs and Rs.50/- to Rs.200/- per head per annum from Gazetted Officers from the salary of each employee as their contribution towards Flag Day Fund to be utilized on Welfare Schemes of Ex-servicemen.
2.In pursuance of G.O.1st and 2nd read above and in the circumstances reported by the Director Sainik Welfare, Hyderabad in the reference 3rd read above Government after careful examination of the matter hereby enhance the deduction from Rs.20/- to Rs.100/- per head from the Non-Gazetted Employees and from Rs.50/- to Rs.200/- per head from the Gazetted Officers of State Government employees every year from their salary of December payable in January, effective from December, 2015 as their contribution, towards Flag Day Fund to be utilized on Welfare Schemes of Ex- servicemen.
3.All the Heads of Department and all Heads of Officers, Drawing and Disbursing Officers are requested to recover the above said amounts and remit the same to the Director Sainik Welfare, TS, Hyderabad through a Demand Draft.
