Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test, TS LAWCET Exam date 2025, or TS PGLAWCET Exam Date 2025, has been announced by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, TSCHE, on its official website.

More details are available on the official website, tsche.ac.in. LawCET 2025 and PGLAWCET exam date has been set for June 3 by TSCHE. Check the complete schedule and other latest exam updates below.

Apart from Telangana LAWCET exam dates, the official notice also mentions that the entrance exams will be held in over 100 exam centers. The detailed notification and TG LAWCET registrations etc., will be announced soon.

Before the announcement of LAWCET exam dates, local media reports had hinted that the former would be conducted by covering only 70% of the TS Inter syllabus. Those who clear the entrance tests will then appear for counseling for final admissions.

Osmania University, Hyderabad, is conducting the Common Entrance Tests (CETs), i.e., TG LAWCET and PGLCET, for admissions into LL. B. and LL. M. courses in the State of Telangana as per the schedule.

TG LAWCET for 3 Years Degree Course will be held in Session 1 from 10.30 AM to 12 Noon and Session 2 from 02.30 PM to 04.00 PM.

TG LAWCET for 5 Years Integrated Degree Course and TS PGLCET will be held in Session 3 from 10.30 AM to 12 Noon.

The Telangana LAWCET Hall Tickets can be downloaded from the Official Website. TG LAWCET and PGLCET is being conducted in 42 Test centres with 38 in Telangana and 04 in Andhra Pradesh for Session 1 and 2; and 32 in Telangana and 04 in Andhra Pradesh for Session 3.

The total number of candidates registered to appear for TG LAWCET & PGLCET is 35,538. The number of candidates registered to appear for TG LAWCET 3-YDC is 24,938.

5-YDC is 7507, LL.M. is 3093. test will be conducted in English + Telugu and English + Urdu for TS & 5-YDC) and only in English for TS PGLCET.

The candidates are informed that as per the LAWCET Rules, even one minute delay in reaching the examination centre, will result in denial of entry and admission into the Examination Hall.

They are advised to visit/ascertain their test centers in advance and to report one and a half hours before the Commencement of the Examination.

Mode of PG LAW Entrance Test

  • A single entrance test is conducted for all the courses in LL.M.
  • The question paper will be set in English, Telugu, English, and Urdu.
  • It is 90 minutes in duration and consists of 120 questions of 1 mark each.
  • Part-A consists of 40 questions
    • Jurisprudence 20M,
    • Constitutional Law 20M;
    • Total 40 questions of 1 mark each); and
  • Part -B consists of 80 questions
    • Public International Law 16M,
    • Mercantile Law 16M,
    • Labour Law 16M,
    • Crimes and Torts 16M, and
    • Other Laws 16M.
  • Syllabus and model paper is given in Mock Test.
  • The online PG LAW CET question paper shall consist of 120 multiple choice type questions in two different parts with four responses given to each question out of which only one response is correct for the given question.
  • There is no negative mark for incorrect answers.

Mode of LAW Entrance Test

  • The Test is designed to evaluate the candidate’s ability and aptitude to study law.
  • The Test consists of three parts.
  • Total number of questions will be 120 and the duration of test is 90 minutes.
  • Maximum marks are 120.
  • Part A consists of 30 questions, which carry 30 marks: General Knowledge and Mental Ability.
  • Part B: Consists of 30 questions carrying 30 marks: Current Affairs.
  • Part C: Consists of 60 questions carrying 60 marks: Aptitude for the Study of Law.
  • Out of these 60 Questions a total of 10 Questions will be based on the comprehension of legal passages given
  • For 5 5-year Law Course, the standard expected is of Intermediate level and
  • for 3 year Law Course, the standard expected is of Degree Level.
  • The questions in Part-C, Aptitude for the study of Law, elementary knowledge of the basic principles of the Law, and the Constitution of India on the Part of the Student are assumed.
  • The questions will be objective and include multiple-choice questions and matching items.
  • Each Question contains four alternative answers numbered as 1, 2, 3 and 4.
  • Candidates have to exercise their choice in answering the question.
  • The online LAW CET question paper shall consist of 120 multiple choice type questions in THREE different parts with four responses given to each question out of which only one response is correct.
  • Candidates shall mark the correct answer.
  • There is no negative mark for incorrect answers
