NMMS Scholarship Exam
The NMMS Scholarship Exam is crucial for students aspiring to secure educational financial aid. It aims to identify meritorious students and support their academic journey.
The director of the Government Examinations Board, Telangana State, issued the National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) Examination notification for Class 8 studying students and invited applications from the eligible students for awarding of NMMS Scholarship.
Under the NMMS scheme, the students studying 8th class during 2025-2025 and 7th class pass out for 2025 are eligible to write the scholarship examination.
The scholarship will be awarded to the selected students from class 9 and continue until class 12 at the rate of Rs.12000/—per annum.

TG NMMS Exam pattern
The examination consists of a mental ability test and a comprehensive language test (Telugu, Urdu, English). The Scholastic Aptitude Test comprises social sciences, sciences, and mathematics; each question carries one mark.

and those candidates who claimed community reservation and have not uploaded their relevant community/ caste certificates at the time of registration of their applications online for NMMS should upload their community/ caste certificates and medical certificates in case of PH candidates in the above-said website of this office before the date of exam by using edit option in their nominal rolls.
Otherwise, they will be treated as general candidates. BC candidates who have applied for the exam should upload OBC and non-creamy layer certificates only, not BC certificates. Common C certificates are not valid.

Students who have registered for the Telangana NMMS Examination can check details and download the hall ticket from the web portal using their login details to appear for the examination OR collect their hall ticket from the school headmaster.
- Candidates can visit the official website of BSE Telangana, https://bse.telangana.gov.in/, on your device browser.
- Once you reach the official website, click on the ‘NMMS’ Button, which is displayed at the bottom left under the ‘NTSE & NMMS’ Section of the web page (rounded in red).
- After clicking on the NMMS link, you will be redirected to a new web page. Now, click on the NMMS Hall Ticket link, and you will be redirected to a new web page.
- Select Your District Name, your School/institute Name, and Your Name from the drop-down menus on the hall ticket downloading web page.

Important Instructions to Candidate
Hall tickets must be preserved for future use. Candidates will not be admitted into the Examination Hall once the test commences and will not be allowed to leave until the end of the Examination.
Hall tickets shall be produced at the Entrance of the Test centre and the Examination Hall, failing which the candidate will not be allowed to write the test. Candidates should ensure they answer correct question booklets corresponding to their test papers.
Use HB pencil Only. OMR Answer Sheet will not be Valued if the candidate writes any irrelevant matter, symbols, religious marks, prayers or identification marks on any part of the OMR Answer Sheet, as it amounts to malpractice. Rough work should NOT be done on the OMR answer sheet.
Carrying Calculators, Mathematical Log Tables, Pagers, Cell Phones, or any other electronic gadgets and loose sheets of paper into the examination hall is strictly prohibited.
Adopting any unfair means and any act of impersonation during the test will render the applicant liable for invalidating his/her OMR answer sheet. Further, he/she will forfeit the claim of appearing for the test, making him/her liable for criminal action.
The issue of a Hall Ticket and appearance at the test does not automatically entitle the candidate to admission. The candidate should sign in the space provided on the OMR Sheet in the presence of the Invigilator as signed in the Application Form.
The candidate should return the OMR Answer sheet before leaving the Examination Hall. Failure to do so will make him/her liable for criminal action.
Verify your details printed in the Hall Ticket, such as date of birth, category, Aadhar card, etc., and make corrections, if necessary, in the copy of the nominal roll provided to the Chief Superintendent concerned before signing.
The candidate should be at the exam centre by 9:00 AM on the examination day. A candidate who resorts to malpractice during the examination will not be permitted to write it.
Where the Photo is not visible printed in this Hall, a recent photo duly attested by the Head Master concerned with a school stamp must be affixed.
