TS School Grant Guidelines 2023 or TS School Grant Utilisation Guidelines 2023 have been released by the Commission School Education and Telangana Samagra Shiksha for the utilisation of school grants. All the Heads of Schools who are working in Telangana schools can check details download the School Grant details.

Every year, DSE Telangana will release the funds towards annual composite school grant to govt and local body and model schools under the SS Scheme. Detailed guidelines will be issued for how to use these funds in Telangana schools. Telangana School Grant details

(A) Telangana Composite School Grant Guidelines: All the District Educational Officers are informed that the Annual Composite School Grant has been released to the School Management Committees in all Government Schools excluding Residential Schools in the state of Telangana for the year 2021-22. In this regard, the following guidelines have to be followed for utilization of Composite School Grant and released as per the criteria:

TS School Composite Grant details

Utilization of grant:

  • Provision of stationary i.e. chalks pieces, white papers, registers etc., and conducting of exams.
  • Utilizing grants to celebrate National Festivals i.e. Independence day and Republic day etc.
  • Payment of electricity & Internet charges.
  • Repairs to computers, projector, K-Yan, TV, ROT etc.
  • Cable, internet charges and other expenditure relating to digital classes.
  • Purchase of consumables/ chemicals etc. for Science Lab
  • Replacement and repairing of laboratory equipment.
  • Minor repairs to doors, windows, flooring etc.,
  • Providing Drinking Water
  • To fulfill the Basic need of the Schools
  • 10% of grant to be utilised for purchase of soap liquid for hand wash and toilet cleaning material as a part of “Swachtha Action Plan”.

School Sanitization under Composite School Grant: (ii) Safe school operation, Sanitization and Quarantine (Physical Infrastructure)

  • a. Provision of Basic facilities: Schools to ensure basic WASH facilities which includes separate washrooms for boys and girls, hand washing stations and safe drinking water facility for all.
    • Ensure availability of essentials like soap, alcohol rub/hand sanitizer or chlorine solution, disinfection and cleaning material in the school.
  • b. Sanitization of schools: Sanitization and disinfection should be conducted regularly covering all areas of the school campus and ensure airflow in indoor space.
  • WHO recommends use of Sodium hypochlorite at 0.5% (equivalent 5000ppm) for disinfecting surfaces and 70% isopropyl alcohol for disinfection of small items, and ensure appropriate equipment for cleaning staff.

General guidelines:

  • Take the SMC should make resolutions to utilise grants on the above mentioned items and resolutions shall be maintained accordingly.
  • Social audit shall be done by SMC on utilisation of the grants.
  • Stock and issue registers shall be maintained for the items procured and utilised.
  • Expenditure and balance available shall be displayed on the notice board.
  • Discussion on utilisation of grants shall be conducted at monthly SMC meetings.
  • Cash book and vouchers shall be maintained for all the transactions.
  • Headmasters are responsible for utilisation of grants as per guidelines at school level.
  • The DEO staff and MEO shall monitor the utilisation of grants.

Therefore, all the District Educational Officers in the state are requested to necessary action to issue instructions to all the Head Masters of all the Government Schools excluding Residential Schools in the state for utilization of the grant.

(B) Telangana School Grant Guidelines: The Annual Composite School Grant will be released to the School Management Committees in Government, Local Body Schools in the State during the year 2019-20. Amount will be released in 3 installments. In this regard, the following guidelines for utilization of Composite School Grant as per the criteria.

Therefore, all the District Educational Officers in the state are requested to take necessary action to issue instructions to all the Head Masters of Govt. & Local body Schools to improve school environment and adopt Swachtha Action Plan effectively in the state by utilizing the grant.

TS Schools Grant Utilisation Guidelines, Guidelines on School Grants including engaging the services a person in Schools for maintenance of Toilets, cleaning of School premises. watering of Plants etc., and Job Chart, Engaged Person Remuneration, Schools Toilets Maintenance Grant Utilisation Guidelines, TS School’s Engaged Person Remuneration.

The Telangana Government has taken adequate measures to ensure the provision of boys and girls toilets in all the Government and Local Body Schools in the State. Sanitation facilities are foremost important in maintaining health & hygiene and for the overall development of the students. Further, the Government has also taken a prestigious program “Telangana Ku Haritha Haram” and saplings are being planted in all the schools in the State.

In order to sustain the Sanitation facilities in the Government Schools and also to water the plants in the School premises, necessary funds and guidelines are provided to ensure the maintenance of the toilets clean and also to water the plants in the School premises.

Subject: Telangana SSA Hyderabad – Daily Maintenance of Toilets in the Government and Local Body Schools utilizing the School Grants under SSA & RMSA during 2016-17 Guidelines Communicated – Reg. Reference: Guidelines on School Grants and daily maintenance Schools sent through an email dated 05.07.2016.

All the District Educational Officers and Project Officers of SSA in the Stale arc inf or med that Guidelines on School Grants and daily maintenance of toilets in the Schools have been communicated vide reference cited. A copy of the same is once again sent herewith for compliance.

In this connection, they are requested to take immediate necessary action in the matter and furnish compliance report within a week to this office. 2. Engaging the services of a person by the School Management Committees:

A) Primary and Upper Primary Schools: i) The School Management Committee of the School may engage one local person if the School is not having any attendee/part-time worker. If the School is having 2 attenders (1 attendee & 1 part-time worker) or one attendee/part-time worker, then no person may be engaged.

ii) An amount of Rs.25,000/- per School is allocated as School Grant to the Schools with enrollment up to 40 and Rs.30,000/- per School as School Grant to the Schools with enrollment above 40.

iii) Honorarium: An amount of Rs.2,000/- per month (Max) for a period of 10 months has to be paid to the person in the Schools with enrollment up to 40. In the case of the Schools with enrollment above 40, Rs.2,500/- per month (Max) for a period of 10 months has to be paid to the person.

B) High Schools: i) Enrollment up to 100: The School Management Committee of the School may engage one person if the School does not have either an Attendee or Part-time worker. If the School is having two attenders ( 1 attendee & 1 part-time worker) or one attendee/part-time worker, then no person is to be engaged.

ii) Enrollment above 100: 1. The School Management Committee may engage two persons if the School does not have either an attendee or part-time worker. One person for the watch & ward and the other person for the cleaning of toilets. 2. If the School is having 1 part-time worker/attender, then 1 person may be engaged.

3. If the School is having two attenders ( 1 attendee & 1 part-time worker), then no person is to be engaged. ii) An amount of Rs.50,000/- per School is allocated as School Grant to the Schools with enrollment up to 100. An amount of Rs.1,00,000/- per School is allocated as School Grant to the Schools with enrollment above 100.

iii) An amount of Rs.2,500/- per month (Max) for a period of 10 months has to be paid to the person in the Schools with enrollment up to 40. In the case of the Schools with enrollment 41 to 100, Rs.3,000/- per month (Max) for a period of 10 months has to be paid to the person. In the case of the Schools with enrollment above 100, Rs.3,500/- per month (Max) for a period of 10 months per person has to be paid to the persons.

The Director Of School Education And Ex-Officio Project Director, RMSA, Telangana has given the RMSA Telangana School Annual Grants Utilization Guidelines to all the Headmaster & Chairmen, SMDCs of Secondary Schools in the State.

Water & Electricity charges, Telephone charges, Internet Charges, Maintenance of Toilets’, other rates & taxes.Rs.22,500/-Rs.2500/- per month shall be meet for 9 months.
