TS Teacher ID Card – Samagra Shiskha SPD has given detailed instructions to all DEOs in Telangana State for issuing of Teacher IDs to all Govt Teachers. Identity cards for teachers – The deadline for registration of Teacher details on Online is 24-04-2021. Comprehensive details of teachers are submitted online as part of this process. Teachers will soon receive identity cards just like employees working in a corporate organization. The T state is conducting a comprehensive exercise to issue RFID cards.
Education Department officials said that the ID card will be used to check teachers attendance, including government teachers’ promotions and transfers on the basis of seniority, and attendance will be registered by swiping with the card.

Teachers Data Updation 2021: ID cards are available to teachers working under the School Education Department in the state. Authorities plan to issue ID cards to 1,16,864 teachers across 33 districts by the end of this month. Details of teachers in Government, Local Body, Aided KGBV, URS, Model Schools, Society Gurukuls have already been collected.
The Additional Director of the Samagra Shiksha project has issued orders to the DEOs to verify once again if there are any mistakes in the teachers details. DEOs should certify along with the teachers that the details given by the teachers are correct. If the details are given incorrectly, the ID cards will be incorrect. Teachers and DEOs will be responsible for this.

Online Teachers Data Verification 2021: As per the SS Telangana Proceedings, School Education (SS) Department, Telangana State, Hyderabad has decided to Providing Teacher ID Cards to all the Teachers working under all Management Schools and detailed Instructions have been issued on this regarding.
Samagra Shiksha PD has informed to all the District Educational Officers in the State that it has been decided to provide Teacher ID cards to all the teachers working in Government / Local body / Private Aided / KGBVs / Urban Residential Schools / TS Model Schools/ TREIS.
The Managing Director, TSTSL, Hyderabad will supply the printed Teacher Id Cards. In view of the above the District Educational Officers in the State are instructed to verify the Teacher’s data in teachers info and confirm the correctness of the following fields.

The DEOs shall verify the correctness of the data in Teachers info and certify the correctness of data in Annexure A and submit teachers data with above particulars (1 to 13) with DEO counter signature to SPO office without fail. The DEOs would submit the specimen Signature of the DEO and office address of DEO in Annexure B to print on Teacher Id Cards and submit particulars on or before 24.04.2021 without fail.

The Central SSA has agreed to issue ID cards to teachers and the responsibility of making the cards has been handed over to TSTSL. Among the recipients of ‘Teacher ID Cards’, teachers belonging to different categories are as follows.

UDISE: During the 2019-20 academic year, district education officials collected information from government teachers and embedded it in the UDISE (Unified District Information for Education) models through data entry operators and MIS coordinators.
Education officials have instructed teachers to check the details of the teachers’ blood group, along with the information on where they live. Any discrepancies must be submitted by the prescribed website by the 15th of September.
Teacher ID cards will be issued to all the Teachers from the Department of School Education under Samagra Shiksha. The TS teacher IDs will be issued based on the information available in the UDISE 2019-20.
Hence, before printing the TS Teacher IDs, all the teachers have to check their details in UDISE 2019-20 through schooledu.telangana.gov.in ISMS website.
All DEOs and MEOs have given instructions to the teachers to verify and confirm their information on Teachers Data Updation Web Portal – www.schooledu.telangana.gov.in. There are two new fields added in the Teacher Data at Teachers Information System Web Page i.e. (1) Blood group and (2) Residential Address.
Teachers can also upload their latest photo at this web page. The process to update the Teacher Details is as follows.
Steps to Update Teacher Details
- First, Visit the website: https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in/ISMS/
- Go to Online services Menu at Home Menu
- Click on the ‘Teacher ID Card Info’
- Now, A Teachers Information System(TIS) Web Page will appear
- In this will web page teacher need to enter Mobile number and Teacher ID
- After entering Enter Mobile Number and Treasury ID details; an OTP will be sent to your Mobile
- Enter the received OTP in the required field
- All the details required for printing of the Teacher Card will be appeared. In case any missing or wrong information is available, enter the correct details and click on the “Submit” button.
The Teacher updation should be completed by 24-04-2021. Telangana Teachers can now update their details at ID Card web page on online. Please fill all details correctly only and review all details before submitting your details.
ID Cards for Govt Teachers: ID Cards will be given to Teachers who working under School Education Department. Education Department officials are arranging to issue Identity Cards to government school teachers in the state this year.
For this, details are being collected once again from the teacher. Last year, the authorities updated the details given by the teachers in ‘Teachers Info’ and added some new details by the 30th of this month.
More than 1.25 lakh teachers are working in school education in the state. Of these, 1 lakh are local body and government school teachers. The rest are working in KGBV, Model Schools, Telangana Residential Schools, Urban Residential Schools (URS) etc.
So far, neither the government nor the education department has issued ID cards to teachers. In some schools the teacher pays his own money, Identity cards are being made. However this year the government has decided to give the teacher an official ID card
The SSA decided for issuing teacher ID cards last year. But officials said last year ID cards were not issued because the government had not released the funds.
While collecting the details of the children through Child Info, DSE Telangana is also taking Teacher details through Teachers Info from both ends. Officials advised teachers to update their details through ISMS website.
Teacher blood group, Aadhaar number, mail ID details are additionally collected from Teachers for this.
‘DSE Telangana decided to give ID cards to Govt Teachers. What should an ID card look like? What details should it contain? When to give? No decision has been taken yet,” according to senior education official.
TS Teacher ID Card: Teachers working in government and local body schools across the Telangana State will soon be provided with identity cards. The chip-based ID cards will come with all details of the teachers, including their service ID number, address, blood group, and bio-data.
This move of the Department of School Education, aimed at weeding out proxy teachers, is likely to have a far-reaching impact because school teachers currently do not have identity cards issued by the T State government.
The cards will be designed with Radio Frequency Identification technology and could also be linked with the attendance system in the near future.
Presently, biometric systems are being used in several government and local body schools for recording attendance. A total of 26,18,095 students are studying in 29,267 government schools which have 1,16,828 teachers.
So far, teachers had only identity cards issued by teachers’ organizations or unions to which they are affiliated. The process to issue identity cards will take about one month. This is being done to check proxy teachers, according to senior official of the Directorate of School Education.

The details on the Teacher ID Card are as follows: The identity card provided to the teachers will have complete details. There are many professional details related to teachers.
Mainly working district, Mandal, school U DISE Code, Professional status, mobile number, where they are working(Present Working School). Residence, teacher code, date of birth, blood, group, latest photo etc. 12 types of details are embedded in the identity card.
Teachers were previously issued identity cards by the respective school principals and MEOs. But this time the government is getting ready to hand over identity cards for the first time.
