Telangana EAPCET Exam Dates

JNTUH (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad) will release the TG EAPCET Notification 2025 in February 2025 on its official website on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).
TG EAPCET Online Application 2025
JNTU Hyderabad will invite the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test, TG EAPCET online applications on https://eapcet.tsche.ac.in/. This year, the EWS details of the candidates will be captured at the registration time itself.
TG EAPCET Exam Date 2025
The Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, Pharmacy and Common Entrance Test (TG EAPCET), which was formerly known as TS EAMCET, for 2025 will be conducted in May 2205.
TG EAPCET Hall Ticket 2025
Those who applied for the entrance exam can download the TG EAPCET hall tickets from May 1 with the entrance tests scheduled from May 9.
The test for engineering stream will be held on May 9 and 10, while the A & P test is on May 11 and 12. Both the tests will be conducted in two sessions i.e., 9 am to 12 noon, and 3 pm to 6 pm.
TG EAPCET Syllabus 2025
This year, the syllabus for TG EAPCET 2025 will be 100 percent of first year and second year intermediate syllabus.
Like last year, the tests will be conducted in bilingual languages i.e., English and Telugu, and English and Urdu. If there are discrepancies in the questions in Telugu or Urdu version, the English version will be taken as final.
Why is TG EAPCET held?
TG EAPCET is conducted every year by the JNT University Hyderabad (JNTUH) on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) for admission into various professional courses offered in University / Private Colleges in the state of Telangana.
Admission to a number of bachelor degree courses like B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.E. / B.Tech. – Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology, B.Tech. (Food Technology (FT), etc., are on offer through the exam.
Candidates who clear the exam will be eligible for admission in BE, BTech, BSc courses in Agriculture and Technology at various recognised institutions in the state.
TG EAPCET Exam
- TSCHE will hold the state-level entrance exams in the month May.
- The TSCHE has finalized the dates for the EAMCET exams to be held in the month of May.
- The Official engineering and agriculture, Pharmacy common entrance test notification usually comes in late February or the first week of March.
- The Engineering EAMCET is usually conducted online for six days in two sessions per day.
- The Agriculture (Veterinary) and Pharmacy (Pharmacy) EAMCET will be conducted in four sessions.
- It is advisable for students to apply early.
- Mistakes in the registration of details can occur if there is a last minute rush. Because of that they cannot focus entirely on exam preparation.
TG EAPCET Eligibility
Candidate should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders. Candidate should belong to the state of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.
The candidates should satisfy Local / Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
To apply for TG EAPCET, candidates must have completed their intermediate education (12th standard) or equivalent examination with mathematics, physics, and chemistry as their main subjects. The minimum age limit to apply for the exam is 16 years as on 31st December of the year of admission.
TG EAPCET will not have the criteria of class 12 marks. JNTU has waived off the requirement of using 25% TS Inter marks while calculating EAMCET scores. The final results will now be based solely on what and how a student performs in the entrance exam.

There are three steps – pay the registration fee, fill an online application, print filled in the form. JNTUH has launched online mock tests at eamcet.tsche.ac.in. The aspirants can visit the official website to register themselves for the entrance test.

TG EAPCET Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of TG EAPCET consists of 160 multiple choice questions, divided into two sections – engineering and agriculture.
The engineering section consists of 80 questions from mathematics, physics and chemistry, while the agriculture section consists of 80 questions from botany and zoology. The duration of the exam is 3 hours and each question carries one mark.
The exam will be held in online mode as per the syllabus of EAMCET. Engineering (E) exam will have 80 questions in Mathematics, and 40 questions each in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Agriculture and Pharmacy (AM) paper shall have 80 questions in Biology, and 40 each in Physics and Chemistry. Both are of 3 hours. There will be MCQs with single option correct. Students get 1 mark for the correct answer. There is no negative marking.
- For engineering Mathematics: 80 Marks, Physics: 40 Marks, Chemistry: 40 Marks.
- For others Botany: 40 Marks, Zoology: 40 Marks, Physics: 40 Marks, Chemistry: 40 Marks.
- The exam duration is 3 hours.
- Paper will be set according to the marks allotted to that subject.
- EAMCET exam will be conducted separately for Agriculture and Pharmacy admissions.
- Ranks will be decided according to the marks secured in inter and EAMCET. 25% – Inter, 75% – EAMCET.
- In this test qualifying marks are 25% but this will not applicable for SC, ST Students.
Only those who get at least 25% marks qualify the exam. However, there is no set qualifying mark for SC/ST. Qualified candidates are ranked by awarding 75% weightage to the normalized score of TG EAPCET and 25% to the relevant subject group in the qualifying exam.

TSCHE TG EAPCET Merit list
Among all those who have qualified the exam, a merit list will be created. In the merit list, 75 per cent weightage will be given to TG EAPCET and 25 per cent to marks obtained in relevant group subjects namely mathematics or biology, physics, the chemistry of the qualifying examination.
