UGC NET 2021 Online Application Form Correction Process Begins at ntanet.nic.in. The UGC NET Online Application Correction Process window will close on March 16. UGC NET 2021 Correction Process has begun on the official website of National Testing Agency (NTA) – ntanet.nic.in.
National Testing Agency (NTA) has given facility to make corrections in application form of UGC NET exam. Applicants can make corrections in particulars, choice of centre cities, photographs and signature in their application forms.
“Some of the candidates have uploaded Photograph/ Signature which are illegible or have uploaded Photographs with Mask; such candidates are advised to upload clear photograph/signature of desired specification (as detailed in Annexure – A) to avoid cancellation of their candidature,” NTA notice reads.
UGC NET Online Application Correction Process
The online applications process for UGC National Eligibility Test 2020 concluded on 16-03-2021, candidates will be able to make corrections in their online application forms (if required) from their Login Profile.
How to make corrections online:
All the registered candidates for the said examination are advised to visit the website and verify their particulars. They are further advised to make corrections in their particulars, in their respective registration form, wherever incorrect or incomplete. Candidates who want to make changes can follow these simple steps given below.
NTA has opened the application correction window for UGC- NET applicants. The applicants can make corrections in particulars, choice of centre cities, photograph and signature in the online application forms before 5 pm of deadline. Submission of fee (if applicable) can be done before 11:50 pm of September 2.

- Click on the link that reads ‘Correction in the Application Form UGC-NET June 2020’ on the website
- A login page will open
- Enter your registration number and password to login
- Make the necessary changes and submit
UGC NET June session examination will be conducted between 2nd and 17th May 2021 . NTA conducts the exam twice in a year for the eligibility for Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor both, in Indian Universities and Colleges. The admit card is expected to release soon.
NTA UGC NET May 2021: Important Dates
- Application correction begins on 12/03/2021.
- Last date to make corrections: 16/03/2021.
“Candidate may please note that those candidates who have already sent Emails to NTA also need to make corrections through the official website of NTA only. No correction shall be accepted through Email in any circumstances,” according to the official statement.

The National Testing Agency is scheduled to organize UGCT NET May 2021 in May. UGC NET Exam dates and the complete schedule was released by the NTA and Admit Cards will be released soon on its web portal.
UGC NET 2021 Corrections: The registered candidates who wish to make necessary changes can do so as per the schedule. The online window to make necessary changes in the UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) application form has been activated, the registered candidates can make necessary changes through the official website, ntanet.nic.in, by using their application number and password.
UGC NET 2020: New exam pattern: From this year, National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the exam and instead of 3 papers, there will be only 2 papers – paper 1 and paper 2.
UGC NET Paper 1: It will be of 100 marks and will contain 50 objective type compulsory questions. Each question will carry 2 marks and will be of general nature and will test the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate.The duration of the same will be one hour (9:30 am to 10:30 am).
UGC NET Paper 2: It will be of 100 marks and will contain 100 objective type compulsory questions. Each question will carry 2 marks and will be based on the subject opted by the candidate. The duration of the same will be two hours (11 am to 1 pm).
