Union Public Service Commission, UPSC has declared the UPSC Prelims Result 2021 for the Civil Services Preliminary Examination as well as Indian Forest Services Preliminary Examination. The list of candidates who have appeared for the UPSC CSE Prelims is now available online on the official website upsc.gov.in. The list of candidates is also provided here for quick reference. Candidates shortlisted in UPSC IAS Prelims would now have to appear for the Main Examination for Civil Services and Indian Forest Services 2021 exam respectively.
All the candidates can check the Civil Services Prelims result on the official website of the commission, the link for which is upsconline.nic.in. UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Exam Results for CSE Main Examination, On the basis of the result of the Civil Services Preliminary Examination, the candidates with the following Roll Numbers have qualified for admission to the Civil Services Main Examination.
All the candidates who have successfully qualified for the UPSC Prelims exam are now eligible to appear for the UPSC CSE Mains. As per the schedule, the Civil Services (Main) Examination will be conducted on January 22.

The Civil Services Preliminary Exam or CSE Prelims was held on October 10 at 2569 centres across 72 cities. As per the official data, as many as 10.58 lakh candidates had registered for the UPSC CSE prelims. The candidates who have appeared for the UPSC preliminary examination can visit the official website of UPSC to check and download their results.
UPSC Civil Services Mains 2021: DAF
Following the rules of the examination, all these candidates have to apply again in the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, which will be available on the website, upsconline.nic.in. The candidates who have been declared successful have to first get themselves registered on the relevant page of the above website before filling up the ONLINE DAF-I.
Candidates are also informed that marks, cut off marks and answer keys of screening test held through CS Prelims Examination, 2020 will be uploaded on the Commission’s website only after the entire process of the Civil Services Examination is over i.e. after the declaration of final result.
DAF (Detailed Application Form)
The candidates who have been declared successful in the preliminary examination are required to apply in the Detailed Application Form (DAF) for the Civil Service main examination.
All the qualified candidates are required to apply again the Detailed Application Form-I (DAF-I) for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2020. The application forms will be available on the website of the UPSC
As per the calendar available on the official website, UPSC has scheduled to conduct Civil Service main examination on January 22. Indian Forest Service main examination will be conducted in December.
UPSC Civil Services Main 2020 Admit Card: The UPSC Civil Services Main 2021 admit card along with the Time Table of the examination will be uploaded on the Commission’s website around 3-4 weeks before the commencement of the exam.

- On the new page opened, login with your UPSC registration number and date of birth
- Your UPSC Preliminary result -2020 will be displayed on the screen
- Download and take a print out of your UPSC Preliminary result for further reference

What next?
- Qualified candidates can appear for the UPSC Mains 2021 exam scheduled to be held from January 22 onwards.
- That will be followed by a personality test after which the final result will be announced.
- After the final UPSC result 2021 is declared, the individual marks secured by the candidates will be released.
