Newly introduced courses
MSc (Psychology): It consists of 15 Regular seats and 15 Self Finance seats. 75% seats are reserved for those who have done BA / BSc courses in Psychology. The remaining 25 per cent seats are allotted to BSc / BPT / BePharmacy / BE / BTech candidates.
MA: Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies, Comparative Literature, each has 30 regular seats and 10 self-finance seats. Candidates with BA / BSc / BEC / BBM / BCA / BE (OL) (Telugu / Sanskrit / Special English) / Hotel Management degree are eligible.
Candidates who have completed BA / BEc / BSc Degree in relevant disciplines with minimum 50% marks, B.B.M./BCA/BED/Bachelor of Elementary Education / Physical Education candidates can apply. Candidates who are preparing for the final year examinations are also eligible.
85 per cent of the seats are reserved for locals. The candidates are Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam. 33.3% reservation applies to women.
There is no age limit
There is no age limit for writing this test. But the age limit has been fixed for candidates seeking fee reimbursement. General Candidates should not exceed 30 years and Reservation Category candidates should not exceed 34 years.
